Type 316 Stainless Steel Hex Head Bolts - Size 1/4-20 x 1/2" (pack of 25pcs) Marine Bolt Supply

I needed stainless steel bolts that were 1-1/4" long for use with concrete drop-in anchors for swimming pool safety rail installation. This is not a length readily available at Home Depot, Lowes, or my local hardware store and so I ordered via Marine Bolt Supply. They appear to be of very high quality and did the job. I am a mechanical engineer by training and have seen some poor quality hardware evidently sourced from questionable suppliers but these bolts were perfect.

DIY Projects and repairs to replace some rusting bolts

Used as replacement keel bolts for a Catalina 22 Swing Keel. Replacing these 4 bolts every couple years is cheap insurance!

No problems with them!

Of the 8 bolts I used 6 of them broke while removing simple nylon lock nuts. I had to remove them since the nuts got 3/4 of the way and then wouldn't tighten further. This is using a 3/8 drive manual ratchet.
