This is a small par-like light which wasn't evident to me in some pictures. The lights are relatively bright for the wattage, but will be best served in a dim setting.They do spread a pretty good angle, but plan to have several more than you may think to generate the pop of lighting you are looking for. They play more as a purple-ish wash than true UV, but they seemed to be effective. There is a small high pitched whine from the computer board that would be unnoticed in a loud setting. In a low/medium ambient noise environment, some may pick this up.

I purchased these based on review of the single par lights. I also have same brand of the 9 X 3watt black light that is awesome. These suckers are very bright. Color mixing is also great. Easy set up and onboard programs are good. The stand is fair but not very tall. Assembled is about 12" above eye level. Bag is kind of cheaply made and most likely will not last long. Also one complaint the single control runs all lights in a slave mode. So all lights are running the same colors. I was hoping to be able to run in a chase and have option to controls each light separately. Instructions are very basic. Personally I think 4 single lights a better stand and a DMX control would be cheaper and give more custom options. After New Years I will connect them to DMX and test the macro functions. I am hoping each light has 8 channels. But it looks like they are going to be slaved to copy each other. All in all these are priced a little high. But it is a good product that works as advertised. UV function is pretty cool too. Also mixing UV with faint colors has a good effect. Onboard mic not very good and has no sensitivity setting. Only works with 75 dbl and above.

This is supposed to be 30 watts. NO WAY. Barely bright at all. I have 30w par lights that will blind you on stage. Worse yet- does NOT make UV reactive paint glow. Wrong wavelength. Just a very dim purple crap light. Barely will even light your bathroom. Don’t waste your money. JUNK

Product arrived quickly, but I was a little disappointed, as this light is not very bright. I guess you get what you paid for.......
