**Q: The instruction for the Lactobacillus Gasseri sachets says 100 degrees or 36 hours to fully ferment. Will this work?**
A: Gasseri is a particular probiotic that has to be at EXACTLY 100 degrees for EXACTLY 36 hrs. It and L. Ruteri have the same requirements bc they are 100X better for you than any yogurt you can buy. Thats like comparing a Porsche to a VW.

**Q: Is it battery operated?**
A: Need to plug in 110V power

**Q: Does anyone made Natto with this machine?**
A: This yogurt maker can be used for making natto.

**Q: Do you have to scald milk first?**
A: Yes if your using regular milk unless it's  ultra pasteurized. I use half and half. I do warm it up slowly to 110 degrees and have the yogurt maker on with a towel wrapped around it so that it doesn't cool off the milk to much when I pour in the 110 degrees milk. Put lid on. I wrap mine loosely in a towel to help keep milk at 110. Hope this helps.
