I purchased this ankle brace when I sustained a grade 2/3 high ankle sprain with an inner & outer ankle sprain. Not fun. I needed something that would provide a good bit of support when I was finally able to put weight on the ankle. This brace definitely fits the bill. It has allowed me to be able to drive even when I can't, as of yet, walk unassisted on my ankle. It provides good stability for the ankle which means I don't have to be as concerned about reinjuring my ankle during the healing process. I have a small ankle, so I generally have difficulty finding an ankle brace the fits properly. This brace is great as it's highly customizable. It comes with pads that can put used inside the brace which I didn't need. It slides onto the foot. There are two velcro strips that allow the brace to be fitted to the ankle area. In the front, there are 2 double elastic strips that are stretched and attached to the brace with velcro. This allows you to adjust the tightness of the brace. Finally, there is the stiff plastic portion of the brace. The velcro strip wraps around the brace/ankle. It is this piece that provides the rigidity for the brace. This portion pivots at the ankle joint. This ankle brace is more bulky than a more traditional lace-up brace, but it provides more support, comfort, and customization. It's been perfect for my long recovery process.

These are fantastic. They are comfortable, don't constrict my foot and really support my ankle and injured tendons. But my advice is to just glance over the pictures in the directions and ignore the mind numbingly complicated directions. They are the easiest things in the world to put on - you simply have to look at them and it's completely obvious how each part needs to be fastened. It just takes seconds to put them on and remove them.

My son actually did the research for braces. We have a lot! This IS the only one that allowed him to play basketball comfortably and confidently. It eases the pain significantly. Healing from a sprain

This worked well. Saw someone else write something about how these things should be a bit complicated to put together to get the right type of support. Would send this to my friends who sprain their ankles.

This is pricey but it's worth every penny! I had a neoprene support from a local store and it didn't feel sturdy enough to protect my ankle from rolling again. I bought this in hopes of having more protection during pickleball. Once I learned how to use it, because it is confusing at first, I'll never use another one. I feel confident that I'm not going to reinjure my ankle with this on. I also switched to an actual court shoes. Don't be dumb like me and try to play pickleball or tennis in regular cross trainers. lol

Hat etwas gedauert die richtige Größe zu bekommen, aber das warten und suchen hat sich gelohnt. Mein Knöchel hats mir sehr gedankt.

Bei Schuhgröße 47 fällt die Bandage in Größe XL etwas zu groß aus, Größe L passte dagegen perfekt.
