They’re very soft and quiet because there is no plastic in them. They are not individually wrapped. If you’re looking for a very thin pad with wings try Sacred organic cotton pads instead. I use those too because they’re individually wrapped and compact but I prefer to use the Naturacare pads when I am home-I think they’re much more comfortable. I had never thought of that before as I just fold one in half to put in my jean's pocket. If carrying my backpack I put several sanitary supplies in a baggie that I refill when needed. Not being individually wrapped means less waste. 100% ORGANIC cotton! Soft to the touch and I have never had an issue with them rubbing or causing irritation.
