Ordered for a 2022 R 1250 GSA and fits perfect. Comes with all necessary hardware. “GS” logo is laser-etched through anodized treatment. Installation takes about 5 minutes. Looks great on the bike!

I’ve heard about the “single point of failure” issue with the kickstand switch, and this is a simple fix to it. Dropping the bike on the kickstand side and hitting a rock (right there at the plastic switch) could happen, and this switch protector covers that delicate area well. Oh, and this protector also provides underneath barrier, in case feisty trail rocks attack the plastic switch from below. As an additional precaution, I’m also carrying the $15 kickstand switch disable plug, just in case.

Sturdy, stylish. Fits, which has proven elusive with Amazon dealers of parts for this bike. Main mounting point uses a bolt that secures the engine and lower frame, so do have your torque values for that bolt and Loctite handy for assembly. A hose close secures the other end to a frame tube so I made a gasket out of inner tube to protect the frame. A spacer is provided for other applications but there were no instructions.

Installed on my 2022 BMW 1250 GSA 40th anniversary edition. Color matched wheels and gold/yellow accents perfectly. This piece protects the electronic connection to the kickstand.

Overall a good product. Some of the hardware included isn't the best quality but for the price you can buy another 50 cent bolt to make a cleaner install.

Item was everything as described but the wrong colour on arrival. I decided that I could live with it and didn’t progress any further.

I used it on my BMW r1250gs Rallye. I like the look as it matched the Rallye rims. Quite robust, well machine, looks great. Zoom in on the photo. I fortunately never had to rely on it as I didn't drop my bike. I will put one on my r1300gs Triple Black.

Nice addition to my GSA. Love the added piece of mind around the kickstand switch. Easy install. Took about 5 mins to figure out and 2 mins to install.
