I am a watch person...I've worn one every day since early childhood and I hate looking for my phone when I just need to know the time. My Citizen gave out and there's no way I can have the Longines I've always dreamed of, so I thought I'd give a fun simple watch a try. This watch looks just like the picture in person--it looks sharp. If you're going to get a fashion watch, this is a great option. I compared to Skagen and the more expensive Daniel Wellington. It's all the same kinda-lousy materials, but again, it's a good fashion option. Fossil's Jacqueline line has a 14mm (not 16mm) band, which I feel sets it apart from competition. The thinner band looks better on narrow wrists or small frames and the leather is supple. This is a way to get that trendy oversized women's watch look, without it looking awkwardly oversized. I was concerned about the mineral face getting scratched up (a fate that has befallen every mineral face watch I've owned). For now, I'm just keeping the protective film on and no one can tell. With time, I'm sure I'll get bubbles under the film and I'll eventually have to remove it. Yes, it's a mineral face so it'll scratch up. But again, it's a fashion watch not a classic timepiece. The only problems I have are that it's too casual for formal events (as you can tell from the photo) and the nob for setting the time kind of presses into my hand, so I don't like to sleep in the watch. But again, it's a fashion watch. Of everything I looked at, I think this is a sharp and cost-effective choice.

Just beautiful with the sparkling crystals.! I bought the silver and gold moon phase. Years ago I had a moon watch when it was "all the rage" & loved it. Fossil has always been a good basic watch I can depend on!

This was a gift for my wife and she really liked it. This watch is her favorite. The watch is very thin and looks good on hand.

The first watch I ordered looked great, but the knob fell off the first day I wore it, and wouldn't go back on. I exchanged it, but the second one arrived in one if those paper thin envelopes without any padding, and had come out of its case during shipping, resulting in a non working watch with a scratch on the glass, and a piece of something under the glass on the face. I decided to give it one more shot, and the third time seems to be the charm. The watch is lovely, and I really like it. It's not going to last forever, but as a nice fashion watch, for the price, and if you don't intend to beat it up, it's a good deal. ...as long as Amazon does their job and packs it correctly, that is.
