Review: Worked exactly as promised. - Physically, it installed easily with a proper fit. I'm not a fan of plastic bolts but if you are careful when tightening them, they do their job just fine. Setup was simple in LibreElec as promised. It showed up in the Kodi, Audio Options to be selected and that was it. As close to plug & play as you can get with Pi components. I'm not one to try and compare between DACs and such but I can tell you that it was a worthy improvement over the meager, analog output built into the Pi. Side note: This replaces my sadly departed Squeezebox for playing my digital music collection on my living room speakers. I needed something that would once again play FLAC files, (but without compressing them for streaming.) A Pi and this Justboom HAT was an inexpensive replacement. I'm experimenting with a couple of options for remote control from my phone. I think "Yatse" will win but it's too early to tell.

Connected with co-ax to SMSL Q5 Pro and everything sounds tight and dynamic now compared to using standard pi usb before. Volumio found it as I2S device straight away didn't have to do anything after rebooting. Hige difference, easily best bang per buck upgrade in a long time.
