This sushi rolling mat works wonderfully! It’s sturdy, easy to handle, and makes rolling sushi so much easier. I wrapped it with plastic wrap, and it kept everything clean without rice sticking to the bamboo. The rolls came out tight and beautiful, just like in a restaurant. Great tool for anyone who loves making sushi at home!

Rarely do I find a product that deserve 5 Stars straight across the board/in every aspect (features included). I've purchased many products on Amazon -none of which I've ever placed in the category of "above and beyond Excellent" but this is the one that happens to fit perfectly within this category. I then added the SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I experienced to this PERFECT PRODUCT and I can only say: Delamu Rock! In all honesty, I would definitely give this 100 Stars if possible. The entire Bamboo Sushi Kit is absolutely well made, easy to use, easy to clean, high-end restaurant quality, and durable. it was very nicely packaged, and instructions clear, in-depth and very easy to follow. No one (myself included) in my household has ever made Sushi before but (thanks to the enclosed instructions), there were no issues making it. Take a look at the pictures from preparing the ingredients to the final results of finished product. My daughter did an awesome job utilizing these products to make "FISH-FREE SUSHI" with Pickled Ginger on top (as depicted in pictures), was delectable! Finally, I highly recommend this set. It comes at a small cost but don't let that deter you--the quality and overall afore-mentioned features is undoubtedly above and beyond Excellent, thus (IMO), it is the Perfect product! Loooooove it!

Like any skill making good sushi takes practice. There are really good how to videos online. The bamboo mats easily fit inside a large ziplock bag. This allows you to craft the perfect roll. But anyone who says they didn’t make sushi may not have been using sushi rice - that is the key. Plus the wooden paddle needs to be wet when you spread your sushi out. After making my second batch I was making restaurant quality sushi. One word of advice. Plan your ingredients and do your prep work ahead of time. Trying to boil rice, cut/trim ingredients and set up your station cannot be done simultaneously. Cook you rice, prep your ingredients then set up your station. Trust me it will save a lot of frustration.

The overall design and packaging is very cute and clean. The chopsticks are so cute; the fish design on them is clear and clean and the wood is polished and nicely shaped. The rolling pads are nice but comparing them to a really good one I have, the sticks could be closer/tighter and less string, HOWEVER, they still are pretty good and would get the job done AND it comes with two pads! There were the two spoons there as well, very basic (lol they just spoons) but good quality. It's a perfect gift for someone who is interested in making sushi or likes to eat sushi. Even if they don't make the sushi they'll enjoy the chopsticks. (This is just a visual review because I gifted someone this so not sure on how well it cleans but from the feel and looks of it it looks like it would be fine and easy to clean, nothing too crazy)
