A really good option (for indoors at least)
Exactly as portrayed, set up was as any other tripod stand. All pieces included and is sturdy. I mounted the Godox Ms 300 V with the Godox Ul-Octa Box 90 and didn't need to weigh it down so it is quite stable even when fully extended. Good for indoor use, I haven’t used outdoors yet.

Unbelievable quality!
Unbelievable quality! Super stable, and very easy to install and use. I can't believe this level of quality for this price.

Perfect. Sturdy. Holds heavy equipment
What an awesome stand. I have a newer CB60 studio light that is super heavy. Normal plastic stands lean and fall over. This is sturdy, steel and solid. And the price. What a bargain. So happy that I can now concentrate on filming and not trying to prop up the stand.

Professional quality at a bargain price
A very versatile stand. The Amazon headline lists the main applications: Light Stand and Photography Tripod, with a combination 1/4" and 3/8" screw adapter that is suitable for various cameras, video lights, ring lights, and other equipment like microphones, etc. My best light is pretty heavy, and has its own large mounting mechanism. It fits perfectly and clamps tightly over the Neewer screw adapter. The light can be mounted straight up or sideways. See video. This is a beautiful piece of equipment. The stainless steel tubing is nicely polished with solid connections to the struts that hold the tripod shape and the adjusting joints that allow the main shaft to telescope from about 50 to 118 inches. However, under 'About this item', it says "Made of 100% tough stainless steel". Well, maybe. Maybe not... The connection and locking joints, the metal strips between the legs and the bottom support, as well as the knobs, don't look like stainless steel to me. They don't look like aluminum, either. They may be some kind of alloy that's *nearly* stainless, but I'm just being suspicious. Also, there are plastic inserts in the ends of the legs that help to keep nice flooring from being scratched, but they are inserted squarely into the legs. The result is that only a sliver of the plug contacts the floor, and it's likely that the plastic will wear out long before any other part of this tripod fails. A better quality piece of equipment would have inserts that pivot to fully rest on the floor at any angle formed by the legs. The only other nit-pick I have is the lack of accompanying instructions/data sheet/contact info/warranty... The only thing was a tiny 2" by 2" card with a warning on the back about being careful when first loosening the clamps. It is heavy. That's good. A studio light stand isn't meant to be mobile. Put something on it and it stays in that place. I'm impressed with the high quality and (actually) a great price. I've seen some pro setups that have home-built stands that are just massive... rock-solid... very heavy, yet roll-around-able. Neewer has a good reputation, so this stand should also be OK for most professionals while being an excellent piece of equipment for the serious amateur.

Good product
I’m impressed with the build quality of this light stand. It’s sturdy and handles the weight of my lights easily. I would not use it for very heavy lighting fixtures but it works well with my stuff. It doesn’t go really high, but you can order versions that do.

5 star tripod for heavy-duty, compact use!
I bought this tripod for a heavy photography light that weighs about 9 pounds. This tripod is excellent quality! Sturdy. I love that I don't have to fully extend the legs for the tripod to sturdily stand up on its own. I'm primarily using the tripod in a small space, so it doesn't take up a ton of floor space or square footage. Absolutely perfect for my needs. Recommend!
