Catkin Blossom BB Cream Air Cushion Foundation Natural Coverage Moist Glowy Finish Breathable Face Makeup with 2 Refills Beige (C01 Ivory Light)

This stuff is beautiful! I've tried 4-5 cushion foundations and it's definitely top 2 (sadly, the other was discontinued, RIP). I have a lot of dry patches, redness, and large pores, so it's VERY difficult for me to find a foundation that doesn't make my skin look worse. This doesn't cling to my dry patches and smoothes out my pores. The undertone is very neutral, which can be hard to find. I'm sensitive to fragrances, and this scent isn't very noticeable and doesn't linger. It's slightly glowy, which I love, so it makes a great fall/winter/spring formula for my combo skin. It might be a little too dewy for the summer in my T-Zone without powder, though (I live somewhere hot and sweaty, lol). The packaging is gorgeous and functions well. I love that 3 units come with the purchase. I'm already on my second one. It might be my imagination, but it feels like there's not quite as much product in there as with other cushion foundations, though. It's probably light/medium coverage and slightly build-able. It evens out my redness but doesn't cover all of my freckles. It doesn't seem to wipe off as easily as some of my other cushion foundations when I blow my nose or accidentally touch my face. One of the things I don't love as much is that it tends to take a long time for it to dry down if I don't powder it. But I try not to touch my face anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much. This was such a great find, and I'm looking forward to buying more!

This is my second time buying from Catkin. I was so impressed with the first compact I purchased: the elegant packaging & the quality of the makeup, & the value in getting an extra refill. This product is the same, & an even better value! The charm & sophistication of the containers alone --little pieces of artwork that resemble Cloisonne-style jewelry-- a joy to look at, hold, & display! (They don't read "cheap" at all; very substantial.) More importantly, the makeup contained inside is truly remarkable. Beneficial ingredients as treatment for your skin (more like a BB or CC cream), extremely light, goes on smooth, feels like "nothing," & actually provides some coverage of any of your minor imperfections. (If you have any major discolourations, undereye darkness, etc. you're still going to need a concealer & setting powder; but otherwise, this makeup provides a light & fresh natural look.) And THIS set comes with TWO foil-sealed for freshness refills! Do the math, & you'll see the value for the money. An unfortunate aspect is that this makeup comes in only two shades (both of which are very light-toned; I, as a 60-something Caucasian, can wear both, with scant noticeable difference); many MANY people of different skin shades are shut-out from enjoying this lovely formula makeup. Catkin really might have something, if they considered expanding the spectrum of shades!

You’re going to love this product. If you don’t like a makeup look, this one’s for you. It’s so light but covers all your flaws; simply amazing because it looks like your own skin! It’s very easy to apply, and the packaging is lovely; no messy fingers! It comes with an applicator that you’ll love using. I’ve never used a makeup like this and I’m pretty certain you’ll love ❤️ it as much as I do. I’m actually going to buy a darker shade for summer. Please, give it a try!

This product lists "natural plant ingredients, Tea extract, Rosemary and so on". Upon reviewing the ingredients, I have not found any site of natural content, pretty much just chemicals. It is pleasant on application, beautiful design of packaging and functional compact. Coverage is very light and close to invisible. My skin had a sticky feeling after the application. Due to content of the product, I am not sure if I will keep using this BB cream or ever re-purchase it again. Some of ingredients but too many to list: aqua, cyclopentasiloxane, glycerin, butylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, butylene glycol, dimethicone, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, lauryl PEG-9 polydimethylxyethyl dimethicone, etc. The list continues with no herbal content in sight as I see. I might add an image of that part since manufacturer/seller didn't.... I googled some of the chemicals. Apparently most are acceptable in cosmetics with "there's not much evidence that this chemical causes serious harm in humans". Please chose carefully what to put on your skin...

Product feels awful on the skin. I've used silicone, oil, and water based primers and serums under this foundation trying to find some barrier to use so that it's not touching my skin, but no matter the type of primer, it causes the foundation to pill and I have to ultimately wash it all off and use something else. It's not lightweight or moisturizing. I put the compact on it's side in my make-up bag and spent the next day cleaning the foundation off of everything. So this isn't something you could throw in your purse!
