I got an amazing deal on this one with a $10 discount promo ...
I got an amazing deal on this one with a $10 discount promo which is the reason I purchased it. I'm really enjoying this bow and it works very well. For those who are complaining about no manual, it's in the gallery of this listing. Those who are familiar with takedown recurves shouldn't need the manual and already know how to set one up. # Pros - Take down works great. - Great price for a very well made bow. - Standard tapped locations for sights, arrow rest, and front stabilizer. Some folks mentioned "no area to install a sight", either they changed the design and have added them since or those customers have no idea that it's there already. - Metal riser is well made and has rubber grips. - Limbs are built well and mine came all black without the logo. # Cons - None. # Would like to see - Include the print out manual from the listing gallery so customers don't complain about not getting a manual. This really isn't an issue for me since I already knew what to expect however it's a con for TopArchery since customers are going to troll and write negative reviews. - Include a bow stringer. Again, not an issue for me since I already have one. # Notes - I got the 50# and it's awesome. I think I like the 50# recurve better than my 55# compound. It's a toss up. Always take 2 bows on a hunting trip. The recurve is easy to restring so if by chance something like a broad head slices the string, it can easily be restrung. Great additional bow just in case the compound fails. - I might get the 40# since I really like this bow. - The 1x thick plastic washer that people have mentioned seems to not be used for this setup. Not sure why it's included. Based on the manual (gallery photo) it's not displayed in step 1. - I've attached photos of my setup.

Excellent bow for a beginner, or a veteran. Superb value.
My bow arrived in pristine condition. Stringing it with a bow stringer insures that I won’t get any limb twisting or warping. Chrono gives me an average out of 10 shots of 172fps on a 10GPP arrow with the 50# model. I don’t like that the logo is printed on both limbs. This was purchased for hunting, so I’ll be painting black over that. Overall, a very nice bow for the price point. This bow shoots and behaves very much like my Samick Discovery recurve, just 5-10fps slower. Very very similar to the Mandarin Duck Phantom. I got the 3 year amazon sports warranty just in case, but I’ll definitely update this review if something goes wrong with the limbs. For now, she shoots straight and clean. Very little stacking at 50 pounds, but I am an avid powerlifter and don’t really feel the weight too much so I may not be a good point of view on that. All in all, this is probably the best value for a bow that I have ever seen. There are all of the standard bushings and holes for bolting on accessories. It’s light in the hand and the compound style grip is easy to get used to. It feels good in the hand and has surprisingly little hand shock. I wouldn’t mind making it my main bow. I bought it as a backup for hunting trips but I’m shooting it as my main target practice bow simply to break it in and test its durability, and also because it’s just a good bow. I’ll update in a few months or if something goes wrong.

So far its a good bow.
So far its a good 45lb bow. The bow does have a lot of vibration and the string groves are not cut evenly. However, the string is centered bow on the bow. I bought the bow because of the shorter length. The bow shoots great and has more power than my larger recurve in the same weight pull. Note in the pictures the bowfishing reel, rest and arrow total more than the cost of the bow. The key is not to over tighten the limbs and keep it un-strung when not in use. I will keep the dacorn string since the extra stretch allows my fingers to overcome the pinch on my fingers due to the sharp angle of the short bow. Its not a Fred Bear, but it shoots well.

Balanced and light weight !
Update 06-14-24 - Bough it again after i abused my previous purchase beyond use- can't beat 75 for the bow - stringer - string - and quiver. - its a bow kit at a very good price. I had a Tongtu Outdoor Sporting 40 lb i bought three months ago. The upper limb broke off at the riser. So i got this bow instead. The limbs are are straight and there are string channels at both inner limb tips for the string to reline into, nice touch. The riser and limbs have a even black mat finish. Good look. Its pre-drilled for the standard add ones, sights and arrow rest, The arrow rest attachment hole was a little ruff. I needed to insert the rest attachment bolt all the way through the riser from the inside to finish tapping the hole all the way through the riser so I could bolt the rest onto the riser from the outside. Other than the limbs fit evenly and securely. I installed a sight and a after market Wisker. It is a very comfortable bow for me to hold and shoot. Its a very light and well balanced recurve. It put 60 arrows on whatever spot my eyes are focused on. Now if it doesn't break on me my archery will be very happy indeed . It just an excellent feeling and shooting bow. The limb broke because I left it strung for several months- Take the string off after use. It will last a lot longer that way.

Really surprised by how good it is
I ordered this bow after reading all the reviews. I really did not expect much. I was really surprised when I got it. I shoot recurve and have for about 12 years now. ..this bow was bought to keep in my truck. Easy to assemble..pay attention to the limb markings.. the limbs may look similar but they are not the same. It comes with a really bad arrow rest but you can buy a better one. I shoot off the shelf and liked the way this bow shot. .Fairly quiet, and the 45 lb draw I bought waa really 45 lbs..often thats not the case with budget bows fro. Overseas. Using feather fletched easton gamegetter 500 and cammohunter 2016... they work great with the bow. I can definitely see myself picking up another one..great budget bow. Just an update as I have had the bow a few years now. All is still well with it. For its cost I think its a solid value. For kicks I reread the 1 star reviews and see alot of them are from people new to Archery. The dings about the arrow rest for instance.. folks nobody that shoots recurve bows ends up staying with cheap plastic arrow rests... the one here is to get you started.. research options and find what you like. The few reviews with broken limbs reported.. these limbs are well made. Be very careful you have the bow stung properly and use a bow stringer. You can string a recurve bow without a stringer but unless you know what you are doing you can easily damage your limbs. Happy shooting.

Great value for the money
For the price this is such a solid recurve. Now comes with a storage bag that holds all the pieces so you can pack it away, and use as quiver when assembled which I like. Assembly is easy only needing the provided Allen key. The bow does come with an arrow guide but it’s nearly useless as it will break within your first 100 shots. If you’re getting into recurve archery this is a great place to start! Recommend you get an arm brace to help with string slap, a finger tip glove for callous prevention and some knocking points to help you improve your consistency.

Heavy for a kid
Seemed like nice quality but it was too heavy for my 9 year old. The metal is much heavier then our other wood recurve bow

Very functional
Back surgery required a light weight bow for my rehab. Very experienced archer, compound and traditional. No problem with setup and shot without issue. Price point was excellent for need.
