Great, came in perfect state

This is a must have for X Japan fans. For anyone who is in to no-holds-barred kick-a$$ blend of heavy metal that have great melody with accompaniment by strings, try it and I bet you'll be instantly hooked. X-Japan's and Yoshiki's brand of heavy metal masterpieces are often symphonic rock anthems. Some of the songs on this release are not the same versions as the original album releases, so it's worth getting it. Yoshiki is a genius and wrote most of the songs on the album. It's hard to substitute Hide as lead guitar, his shredding is second to none, RIP Hide, I miss you. Pata does the best harmony with Hide, with his rhythm guitar. I can recognise Taiji's strong bass on the tracks, miss you too. These songs were made for Toshi's voice, I can't imagine anyone else singing them. What can I say about Maestro Yoshiki's crazy drumming (signature double bass!) and piano mastery. Currently Yoshiki is on his solo Classical World Tour, so I will catch him live soon. Don't miss it! Also X-Japan has announced a date at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 11, 2014!!!! This will be epic! I am dying to get my hands on "THE WORLD～X JAPAN Hatsu no zensekai best～ (Limited Edition)", release date : 2014.6.17! Too much good news!

I was introduced to JRock by my friend, who sucked me into Luna Sea's world by lending me her MOTHER CD, by Luna Sea. Since then, i have fallen for this band (or, rather, former band, due to their 'fallen curtains' just this past December *sniffs*) and i have become a big fan of theirs. Ryuichi had his capturing vocals, Sugizo and Inoran with their awesome guitar, J bringing the background depth with his bass, and of course we cannot forget Shinya for his incomparable percussions. From that road, i learned of Visual Rock/JRock's grandaddy of em all, X-Japan (whose leader, Yoshiki, discovered Luna Sea ^_^). The first song i heard from them was Endless Rain, and it was so good (and sad, lol)! X-Japan was so talented, i often wonder why they disbanded in the first place, and i had hopes of them returning together one day, but sadly that'll never happen due to lead guitarist Hide's suicide in 98. I'm sure that not a lot of people can learn to appreciate JRock, cuz they have no idea what they are listening to (unless they're a native speaker ^-^) But if you hunt down translated lyrics, the true meanings of the songs are really capturing, this going for all JRock Bands, including X-Japan, Luna Sea, Glay, L'Arc en Ciel, etc. Anyway! Endless Rain was an awesome CD, the song Endless Rain being my favorite of all of them. If you are a fan of JRock, you must get this CD! ^^ If you aren't, then i suggest you start listening to some Japanese Music (no, silly, not anime music ^_o) First impressions are lasting ones, so i suggest you listen to Luna Sea's TONIGHT. That will always be my most favorite song from Luna Sea. I'm sorry if that was all just stupid ranting! ^^;; If you missed the CD review somewhere in there, then in simple terms, X-Japan was the greatest band, and their music will always be legendary. Have fun listening ^^

Finally amazon UK have decided to make the leap and start selling some decent Japanese Rock, and this album will hopefully only be a starting point for what will come. highlights of this cd would have to be x, performed live, with the brilliance of Hide's guitar solo's, and track 1 (Kurenai) starting off very melodicly turning into a song just as fast as x. the vocals dont let the song down either, Toshi has a great range, and its not like the screams from mad capsule markets. altogether a great buy, highly recommended, and im looking forward to the next albums amazon decide to import

Was soll man dazu noch schreiben? X bzw X Japan (seit 1993) ist eine Legende die Hammer Musik machen und Ich bin froh mal wieder eine CD zu finden A: in Deutschland und B: die auch BEZAHLBAR ist ! Nicht wie ein paar "Händler" die Mörderpreise verlange! ! ! Sonst gibt es nur noch eins zu sage: We are ? We are? WE ARE ? ... X ! !

Du classique et rien que du classique, deux morceaux en deux versions différentes. Plaisir immuable. Conseiller à ceux qui aiment le Japon, à ceux qui s'en fichent, à ceux qui aiment le métal et ceux qui n'aiment pas... Il faut essayer !
