time will tell. I just received mine today and they appear to work just fine. I put one on my 16oz thermal bottle (full of water) , bounced it up and down VIGOROUSLY and it held tight; the same with the bottle of Aquifina. I am sure some of the clips will fail as they are not the highest quality ... but I have more to replace them with. These should work great when the grandsons come to visit and we go on outings.

But, it won't fit and hold all items. It's not a product malfunction but, I'd say, a lack of industry standard.

I really like these holders. I like the variety of colors. I can even stencil on the small metal plate if needed. They have held up well. It is a bit tight and hard to get on some bottles, but that is the point; To hold a full bottle of liquid. It is easy to use and attach to a bag or backpack. I like that is is light weight. It is convenient not to have to hold a bottle while traveling and on walks.

They are cheaply made, the carabiner break easily and they are hard to get a water bottle on and off

We used these as we traveled around France to hold our water bottles on our backpacks. They were really great and easy to use and good quality...not flimsy. I always had my water bottle with me and didn't have to carry it in my hand or even inside my pack. I was able to clip it on my strap so that it was always handy. I took a quality bottle with me, empty, so I could get past security and then I knew that the bottle would be a good one and wouldn't crumple. I just kept the same water bottle for my entire trip that fit the clip. It will fit all water bottles, but some better than others.

They don't hold a regular water bottle! Annoying as that's what I got them for. The hole is too big.

Many water bottles seem to slip out of the rubber holder. It really needs to be a bit stiffer. Even thicker water bottles seem to fall out after walking for a while. Maybe I will eventually find some water bottle that doesn't slip out??

Handy invention ! Gave one to all the security officers .. they love hands free but able to carry their water bottle
