Same thing happened to me, NO KEYED CABLE!!

Just like all the other reviews, this item suppose to come with the adaptor and cable, and it just came with the adaptor, no cable.

Works perfectly well!

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to use (see video) and to setup. Same cable works for non-Mac laptops too. Worth the price in my opinion.

be careful installing!

OOPS: neat idea! it is held in place with two bolts: its an innovative solution: but sadly while installing one of bolts ws broke off inside.. Seems like one will hold it. but shucks.. so be careful!!! (well more careful than i was!)

Did not come with cable to lock it with

It didn't come with the cable to lock it with, only the mounting bracket that attaches to the MacBook Pro. I checked out other comments, and realized I'm not the first this has happened to.

Didn’t include keyed cable lock

As others have experienced, I got a tiny box with the adapter but no keyed cable lock.

Two in a row, didn't include the cable!

While the adapter is solid and works on the Mac to provide a lock slot, Amazon is not including the actual cable. I order two of these after the first was delivered without a cable only to find the second was the same.
