Why didn't I find this sooner?

I have had a Sorby Micro Tool handle and gouges for years that I use for turning pens on the lathe. Recently I have been turning small boxes from spalted wood and needed a small scraper to smooth the end grain and bought this scraper. The scraper blade shape allows it to adapt to a variety of surface curves and the shaft holds it at a near ideal angle for shear scraping. My only possible complaint is why didn't I find this years ago. It makes turning smaller bowls and boxes easier, better, and faster.
