Needed a tire marker for a project and this stuff worked great!

Great product and shipping

I purchased these when the raised white letters on my tires started browning. The idea seemed like the solution, but the application was difficult and the results were average at best. I think the rounded applicator, and the push for paint tip (with no way to control the flow) were the two issues. The rounded tip made it hard to get good clean straight edges, while the paint flow went from dry to flooded with sometimes just a pump. When flooded of course, the paint flowed over the edge of the letter requiring cleaning and the use of a black felt pen. I’m thinking a more controlled, consistent paint flow, and a flat tip might be better. In addition, the rounded tip would make lines in the paint. And it made it hard to get a clean straight edge. I will probably try another manufacturer if I can find one with the “improvements” I am looking for.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Disappointed, the tips aren’t very precise. You can scrape off any paint outside of the area you’re trying to paint. The paint didn’t go on even & after 3 coats, it didn’t last a drive. It is peeling off and doesn’t look great. I took my time and followed instructions, but even then was not a good application and product needs improvement with better (multiple sized tips) and more consistent stronger bond to tire. I would not recommend these.

These paint pens were just average for me. I had a hard time getting consistent flow....sometimes too little paint would come out, and other times it would flood the tire. Because of that, it was difficult to get clean, even lettering. They’re usable, but overall I wasn’t very impressed. I’ll be going back to the Duplicolor Hot Tires paint pen, which has been much more consistent in my experience.

it works as advertise, the for pens are more than enough for the 4 car tires ...still have one pen untouched, i will buy it again

Useless waste of money. Itll get painted first, but one wash and the paint will come off. Dont waste your money

Good stuff just need good flow of the paint to do a good job
