But perfect for mouse as it has a indent for mouse to sit in (not hard-shell protected). Interior is lined with thin felt like material. Interior mesh thicker more heavy-duty than outside thin mesh, also loose opening but since it will be sealed inside no issues with usb drives / dongles. Over all great case happy with purchase. I paid 30 for case, is it expensive for what it is, yes. Will it protect the keys from getting mashed and snagged while travelling, yes.
