## Description

The Avalon Countertop Hot/Cold Water Cooler is made with innovation and style. The easy-to-use paddle spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press your cup against the paddle to let the flow of water to come out. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 180° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we’ve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. This water cooler is suitable for both 3 and 5 gallon bottles. The water dispensing area measures 9.5x2.5x10 inches with a height of 7 inches below the spouts to accommodate most large cups and bottles. At the bottom of the dispensing are there is a large removable drip tray to catch and spills. The water cooler is UL listed and complies with all standards of Energy Star. The unit dimensions are 12x12x19 inches.

The handles on the side make it easy to move if you need to. And it's seems pretty durable. I've had it for a few months now and it's going strong. The hot water is very easy to use. Just puch the button and press the cup I ot the dispenser and release the button, you don't have to keep pressing the button which makes it very accessible to use. It handles my 5 gal water jug well.

The cooling feature had stopped working. I contacted Avalon and their customer service rep was superb. I followed the recommended steps in the email and voila! My machine started working its wonders again.

**Q: Will this fit a regular 5 gallon jug with the longer neck and a twist off cap?**
A: It should. I use the 3 gallon long neck with twist cap and the cooler is designed to hold either 3 or 5 gal. It is a great little cooler!

**Q: Is there an electric hum? Or does the heater turn on and off all the time? I want to put it on my nightstand.**
A: I have mine on my night stand in my college dorm. The hum is tolerable and not too loud. When the heater comes on, it sounds like a muffled boil.

**Q: What is height with 5 gallon water bottle on top?**
A: With a 5 gallon jug, which is 19.5 inches added to the 19 inches of the unit = 38.5 inches. However about 3 inches are inserted in the spout receiver. Figure 36 inches to be safe. I use the Zero Water Jug

**Q: Does it use a 2 or 3 pronged plug (i.e. does it need an earth connection)?**

Water is very hot and also cold. I really like that it has buttons to turn off and on the water on both temps. It's makes little to no noise. Looks nice. The handles on the side make it easy to move if you need to. And it's seems pretty durable. I've had it for a few months now and it's going strong. The hot water is very easy to use. Just puch the button and press the cup I ot the dispenser and release the button, you don't have to keep pressing the button which makes it very accessible to use. It handles my 5 gal water jug well.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Im impressed! Better than my standing primo cooler!

Awesome! I also have a primo. The hot is just as hot as the primo but its not instant like the primo is. It seems to hold about maybe 1/3 of a gallon more water too as the primo standing model. The cold is colder than the primo!! Its loud like a fridge too, which i like cause you know its working. If it leaks like others claim in old reviews i will angrily update for sure but the hot is just as hot but not instant like the primo. The cold is colder than a primo and it holds more water.. get it ane be happy cause theres a lot of crappy ones out there but this one is winner, winner, chicken dinner.
