VERTAGEAR VG-PL6000_CB P-Line 6000 Gaming Chair, X-Large, Black/Carbon

Bought it intending to make a very low to the ground rocking chair for gaming, but covid came around so I gave it to my dad so he could work at home. I think he would have opted to go into work without it. My only complaint is that it doesn't have armrests as comfortable as a recliner, but how is that even a complaint? It's an indestructible office chair not something for taking naps on (even that's debatable). I bought the camo one because it was significantly cheaper. Rightfully so, it's ugly as sin, but function is greater than form amiright?

Here is the thing. From the very start of purchase this product was not a good buy, but I tried to soldier on. First day of assembly the piston does not function properly. You could raise the seat with nothing on it, but applying any degree of pressure the chair would sink to its lowest position. After attempting to get in touch with Vertagear's product support and waiting for over two weeks with no response (Eventually I did get a response, inquiry started late August to finally hear back early October.) But it was at this stage more of an inconvenience to attempt to send it back than just deal with It. Chair was comfortable enough that it felt like it would be a small price to pay. Amazon's terrific customer care even supplied a discount and all felt right. Boy was I wrong. Skip ahead to February, a mere five months after purchase and a new issue has arisen. I lean back in my chair and it immediately reclines to its lowest position. The reclining mechanism is solely on the right side of the back rest. Taking it apart, I find that it is a solid steel construction. However the teeth that allow it lock in different positions are so narrowly together they have acted as a saw grinding away the peg that is meant to lock into them. So now the seat cannot support any weight without immediately reclining into bed mode. The spring is still solid, but without the peg the chair is useless. Other gripes. The points of articulation in all of the handles were flimsy and constantly shifting. You could not latch them into place once you found a comfortable spot. Though the handles had buttons which were to release the catches to allow movement, they seemed to simply be for show. Pillows provided for lumbar support were always in odd spots and hard to make sure they wouldn't shift. Being tall, the neck support pillow was useless or for show, unsure. Full conclusion, this product should be avoided at all costs. Company has nearly nonexistent customer service. Chair is constructed cheaply for the price paid.

First, for those wondering... this is indeed the Rev.2 version of the chair which is the latest as of the date of this review. If you are reading this, it is likely you came here from a "Top 10 Best Big and Tall Gaming Chairs" list with this chair being the second highest rated weight limit next to the DX racer Tank series which is 450 lbs with this chair being 440 lbs. I chose this chair for styling reasons over price.I recommend heading over to YouTube and checking out the reviews for both chairs to help with your purchasing decisions. Now to the details... Delivery was made on time (within 4 days). Price is on point with what the manufacturers site advertises.Chair sits higher than standard office chairs so be aware of the chair's height dimensions to avoid ramming your knees in to your desk surface. I use a L-curved Bekant Ikea desk which is height adjustable, so this worked out for me. I also purchased the DX racer footstool that I linked in this review for moments when I want to recline and relax. Black and white matched the Orange\White\Black Vertagear chair I purchased. Armrest are highly adjustable. They can be raised and lowered like most chairs but these also allow you to slide out and retract the armrest to bring the resting surface closer or further away from your desk.Also can be swiveled inwards and outwards depending on your comfort preference. The chair's design is super sleek and material is soft to touch yet firm. Perforated cushion allows for breath-ability during heated gaming sessions. Looks great in any gamer space or office area. Overall, I highly recommend the chair. I would caution if you are well under 6'0" to be aware that you'll feet will likely dangle so again... be aware of the chair's dimensions before buying. Moi qui suit de forte corpulence, je cherchais un fauteuil robuste. Au montage, pas trop de difficulté et on sent que les éléments sont de qualité. Dès la première utilisation j'ai senti la différence. mesjambes gonflent beuacoup moins vite. Le siège est très confortable et stable. Je ne regrette pas cet investissement.

Compré ayer el modelo naranja/negro con entrega 24h y me ha llegado el negro/blanco, que supuestamente tenía un plazo de entrega de 10 a 22 días. Además, el cojín lumbar no lleva las cintas que se ven en la foto, que se supone que son para poder situarlo a diferentes alturas. He consultado al soporte de Vertagear y me han confirmado que el cojín lumbar del modelo PL6000 ya no lleva esas cintas. Una pena, porque sin esas cintas en mi opinión es mejor no usarlo. No la devuelvo porque la necesito, y ya la tengo montada. Aparte de esos dos problemillas, la silla es muy cómoda, chula, grande y se monta bastante fácil. Solo hay que atornillar cuatro tornillos del sistema de inclinación/elevación y otros cuatro del respaldo, el resto es todo encajar (ruedas, pistón y base). Aunque si te despistas y pulsas la palanca del respaldo antes de montarlo (cosa que en las instrucciones pone claramente que no hagas, ejem...) puede costar un poco colocar los tornillos del respaldo. Le doy un 5 para que el fallo en el envío no reste valor al producto.

Amazing chair and easy to assemble, the head rest and back rests work great. Enjoying it so far and there are lots of adjustments that can make the chair a lot more comfortable.
