No, it comes in a plain brown Amazon Box. Very disappointed!

Is there a recommended height/ weight for switching between the stages?

It's more about development than anything else. You drop the sling when baby has better head control. You'll move them to the assisted seated position when they can sit well with support. And you can remove the insert when it's a bit of a squeeze to get them into the insert and you are ready to wrestle a slippery baby, lol.

does this need to go into sink/tub, or on counter?

Tub. It’s too big for sinks. It can go on the counter.
