Make sure you get an appropriate size for your critter. *by C***Y on December 21, 2016* Worked good for a Preying Mantis. Only problem is that she laid an egg case enmeshed in the top so I don't think we can remove it till they hatch in the spring. As long as you don't have anything being deposited in the lid it is a good, inexpensive container. Even though this is a "Large" Terrarium I wouldn't put in anything much larger than the Preying Mantis, especially if the critter needs to move around. It was borderline for the Preying Mantis.
