I received my sock aid a few days early. Go figure. Functionality: bad hip and I need help with my socks

The shoe horn is the best thing! Then the sponge, the grabber is ok and the sock thing is ok

All 4 items were a hit. Purchases for a senior who had a knee replacement. She no longer has to bend over to put on her shoes. The grabber works well with holding on the items that are out of reach. The back reach is soft on the skin. Then the sock one is least used due to it doesn't work well with knee-hi.

These are handy items while one is convalescing

Hip replacement surgery is not easy…this tool kit to make recovery easier is a total rip off. 4 pieces, 3 useless. Most useless is sock assist. The plastic part is covered with a cheap terry fabric, making it impossible to use. The part should be smooth plastic, allowing the sock to slide onto foot. Shame, shame! Next is the sponge on a stick. Sponge is dense and difficult to get sudsy. Stick is very pliable plastic, not easy to accomplish scrubbing. Oh, and then there’s a shoe horn to ease putting in shoes. Doesn’t even have a hole and string to stash on a hook. No thought, no design. Oh, and then there’s the grabber. Does work, but very flimsy.
