Amazing relief during the summer in South Florida on our screened in patio. We’ve had several friends over to watch movies outdoor, and if we just aim it in a certain direction, you don’t realize that it’s 96° with 85% humidity. Perfect solution!

It works, but the Texas heat on the patio is overwhelming for it. It will be great if there are hurricanes or long-term power outages because it can be used inside with a generator without having to find a window. I plan to use it more. Overall, as described. I would recommend, particularly for temps in the 80 degrees range. At 90 degrees and above, it has to be directed specifically to the person wanting cooling.

Do NOT purchase this item. It does not work as described. It doesn't cool anything beyond approx 10 inches from the hose and that air is just cool. The customer service is beyond HORRIBLE when you contact tbem which is completely contradictory to what they have on their site. This is just a complete and absolute disgrace to charge this much money for a complete piece of junk. I need this to cool down a feral cat rescue area and even after explaining the dire need for a unit that worked as described- their response is "we've decided the unit works as intended" so I am welcome to ship it back at my cost for them to decide if and what to refund me. - well sounds to me like they are admitting they know its junk. Please dont waste your hard earned money- or the money of amazing rescue volunteers. Shame on these people!!!! But true to form- Amazon is helping me so we have a solution in play to get these kitties some relief - whew!!

Takes 10-15 degrees off the temp when directly in front of it. Excellent

It does produce nice cold air but it’s countered by much hotter air through exhaust. “Spot cooling” is in a bedroom so there is no outside venting.

This unit is just as advertised - and works very well. Very minor assembly, super easy. No tools required. Its compact, and much quieter than any indoor R2D2 style air condition. There is an on/off switch, and no other controls like thermostats etc. Perfect for its purpose. This sits on a porch, and blows nice cool air into the house. We have it powered via a Smart plug so that it can be turned off and on remotely. As long as it lasts a few good years, this will have been a GREAT purchase.

I purchased this item for our restaurant kitchen in Florida. It is already hot in a kitchen being by the fryers and grills etc, so the exhaust fan and heat coming off was not an issue … I wanted the nice shot of cool air to blow on my employees! It’s worked out great! The unit being metal is good for commercial use, and the wheels and casters being metal are good as well. I am currently purchasing another one for one of our other locations right now! Thanks

This is a REAL air conditioner, not a "swamp cooler" - in Florida because of the high humidity you cannot use evaporative cooling. This machine is the real deal - it blows a focused stream of cool air where you need it - it makes sitting outside in the shade more than possible, it makes it a pleasure. It is surprisingly quiet - combined motor, compressor, and fan noise is more than quiet enough to listen to music, TV or books on tape. This unit has made it possible to be outside by the pool in 100 degree weather. Highly recommended.
