DANGEROUS! I used the pasta utensil to stir pasta and the black “silicone” melted. The pasta and pasta water tasted strongly of plastic and had black bits floating around in it. You can see from the kitchen paper when I wiped the utensil the plastic came off.

Stylish and good quality! Do not put into the dishwasher or the wood will fade! perfect size and light weight :)

These are top quality. I wanted a matching set. I’m not fond of the look of cluttered, mismatched items. The wood handles seem very sturdy and add ‘warmth’ to the stark white counters, cabinets and backsplash. As a decorator, this contrast is what was needed in the counter. There are some very handy pieces that I might not f]think to buy…pasta spoon, soup ladle, etc.

Honestly I spent hours trying to figure out what utensils I wanted. Wood, non wood? Plastic? I couldn't decide. Upon seeking these and the reviews I had to try them and I'm glad I did! They're great! And easy to wash even after using them in a red pasta or curry paste. I would recommend boiling them every month or so just so the wood gets cleaned properly. But so far so good! I'm very happy and so is my wife!

I bought these to replace my name brand kitchen utensils. So far they have worked very well. For the price you get a nice looking set of utensils that hold up in high heat and are dishwasher safe. The handles are a nice touch and make them look more expensive. I find myself reaching for these more than my older spatula. If youre a college kid starting out or someone established and needing a new set at a reasonable price, I reccomend these. They hold up well over time.
