Great survival and camping item. Fun to use. Boils water quickly. Just be careful taking it off the fire.

Great to cook over using a small amount of fuel like twigs and sticks.

Going to be a Christmas gift for friends that are campers.

A little disappointed it was made in China and not Ireland hence the 4 ⭐️, but still a great piece of kit. I guess the whole world has their products made in dragon country now🤷‍♂️ Really efficient and fast boiling. I thought the pot support was overpriced for an extra $10 and really should have been included in the price for 2 cheap pieces of stamped metal, but still happy with the overall product. With the price of a little butane fuel canister these days, the kettle will pay for itself in just a few camping trips🙂👍

I just purchased it and tried it for the first time. I filled it with water about a 1/2" below the spout and put some dried twigs and pine needles for starting. It started quickly, and a combination of the chimney, a breeze, and the hole in the base facing into it kept the fire hot. It didn't take much wood to make a hot fire. The problem came in when I kept hearing water dripping on the fire. I saw that the base was wet and sweating. I took out the stopper and looked in the kettle; the water hadn't started boiling, so it wasn't from water boiling over. I kept watching the base and the seam between the base and the sidewall kept getting wet. It has a bad seem. I've requested a replacement.

This is a very nice product for boiling water while you're camping or out in the field whether you're going to be making coffee tea or something else that needs hot water and it does not require specific fuel that you need to bring along you can find fuel twigs sticks pine cones along the way and it boils water rather quickly
