Excellent waterproofing for anybody with a convertible car. You have to paint it over a clean dry roof and let it dry and the rain will bounce off very easily.

Clear, easy to apply. Managed to do 2 full coats, of my 4man tent this morning, with our fantastic, hot weather right now. I just used a disinfectant spray bottle(thoroughly clean) and a plastic glove to rub it in. This tent has been well used for summer sleepovers and camping trips. It no longer possessed any waterproofng property. However, it is now transformed and back to full function. Completely waterproof. 4 stars because, seller provided out if date tin. However, regardless, this product has always been a trusted favourite of mine and does exactly what it claims to do.

Used for a convertible car roof. Took two coats with a couple of dry days in between to properly seal the roof. Good beading now, ready for the winter. Half a tin did the whole roof on an A5 once, but had already planned to double coat after reading the forums for advice. For the money I think one whole tin to waterproof properly is good value. My roof is 5 yrs old and had seemed to have lost a lot of it's top layer waterproofing (I have only had it since Feb 2021) I also went all round the rubber seals with rubber treatment to prep for frost since the windows go down slightly when you open the doors. Anyway, fabsil is great. It doesn't really smell and if You put it on with a paintbrush it's a very neat and easy job. Would recommend over purchasing the more expensive convertible tailor made products. Some times You don't need fancy!

Really good product - not very easy to use on big tents when erect (but could possibly do this when the tent is down , but i worried it would seep through to the groundsheet and not protect the top as wold be absorbed by the base) - says. you shouldn't dispense into a spray bottle - does smell quite a bit took a few weeks for the smell to stop lingering - definitely made a difference to the tent re; water repellent and proofing
