KUAFU Tailgate Molding Top Trim Cap Cover Compatible with 2017-2022 Ford F250 F350 Super Duty Flex Step Replacement for HC3Z-9940602-A FO1904134 Rear Center Piece

2017 Ford F350 After years fighting with my OEM step tailgate cap popping off any time I used the step or even flying off in the drive thru car washes almost every clip was broken & mangled. I even tried to use marine adhesives to secure it down. When loading some items in the bed a forklift finally finished it off beyond repair. The OEM version is approx $150 however I stumbled upon this for $25. You can see from the pics it’s a perfect clone of the OEM and includes additional parts if needed. One of the “clips” (see pic) was broken off however I don’t know if that was from shipping or caused by me unpacking. A few drops of Gorrilla Super Glue Gel repaired it with no issues. I did use some clear construction adhesive on the bottom for that extra security (we use the step a lot) before I snapped it on for final install however it appeared to be fine without it. All I needed was the cap and used the included plastic grommets so install was under 10 minutes including me removing all of the old adhesive that I used to keep the OEM version secured. Every once in awhile you come across a great product at an incredible price and I must say this is one. It’s a perfect fit!

Perfect fit, came with way more hardware than I needed as I only lost the large plastic cover. But it fits perfect and I was very happy with the price.

Lost the original tailgate step cover after one too many times getting snagged, ordered this, and it showed up quickly, was a perfect fit even with the OEM button. Used a little adhesive for safe measure, took seconds to install. Overall extremely pleased and looks stock.

Fit our truck well and replaced in about 15 minutes. Would highly recommend this over expensive dealer part This truck’s tailgate design is poor and this part is destined to rip off again thru heavy use of our truck bed so I am happy to pay less for this item.

I took a chance and bought this cap because Ford wanted nearly $100 and other places around $70. This cap fit perfectly and snapped right into place. I reused the original plastic body (push in) trim pins. The whole install took less than 3 minutes. Saved money and color matched great. Very Happy with this tailgate cap.

Works but not as good as OEM.

Straight forward installation. Superior quality to the one of the original made by Ford. Very good quality. And very reasonable price. Coloring of the product matches the one of the surround trims. Shipping to Bulgaria took shorter than expected even though I paid for regular shipping. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.

This kit returned my tailgate to new condition and all the parts included were exactly like the original. There was no installation info included with the kit, which was not really required, but I did have to borrow a riveting tool to install one of the kit components.
