Reviews are mixed and I'm concerned about the stability with something that is heavier.** A: 10.5” is all I can get it to open. My older Ipad (9.5X11),with case is just under 24oz and it holds it just fine. However it does become top heavy if it is extended out and not out straight out due to the pole being at one end of the rectangle base.
