Hay Ball

I think my donkey will love it! The quality is great, durable yet pliable. She started playing right away, I think this will give her great entertainment.

My horse loves it! I stuff it with some hay and inside I put treats like horse cookies. So when he comes into his stall, he has a treat!

Very durable. I use it for a pony on a strict diet so the hay last longer. My dog would like to have it for a toy.

I really hope Jolly Ball reads reviews, cause this is a great product, but needs to be bigger. My husband has large hands and it's difficult for him to stuff, AND it would be even better if it was a larger size to hold more hay. My horse has limited hay available to her due to metabolic issues and it's a great product to slow her down and keep it fun. When given the choice, she actually goes to this ball to pick out the hay before eating the rest of her hay that is free choice in the manger. That truly surprised me. So now I'm buying three more to put around the stall. They are very durable and worth the money if my horse enjoys using them.

My very energetic mare has been on extended stall rest due to a ligament injury. I have her partially sedated as she was going bonkers risking more down time. As long as she has hay, she’s happy-meanwhile she’s getting a bit chubby. The hay ball lets me pack in hay really tight (wearing leather gloves) & she prefers eating hay from the ball vs a porta grazer. At first I added treats within the hay, but she likes it just as much with just hay so less calories. She’s smart-once half empty, she bands it against the rails so hay drops out, lol. I initially had a long rope hanging it, but she was too violent - like playing tetherball. I secured it to the bars on her stall front to save other boarders from hearing her smack the ball around. It lasts about 30 mins when I pack it tight which gives me enough time to tack up another horse for lessons 😏.

Actually holds up really well and gives my horse something to do in her stall. She cleans it out every night and enjoys it

Really small and somewhat hard to fill because it's a soft plastic. I was hoping this would be a less expensive version of our bigger harder plastic hay ball for our warmblood. This one is for our pony, but I'll probably pony up, lol, for the better one like we already have.

Best stable toy there is. Both of my horses love it. Keeps them happy and munching for ages. Well worth it.

My donkey had to be stabled for a few weeks while poorly. She wasn't happy ... but the ball, stuffed with hay, eased her boredom a lot. It definitely kept her occupied, and I'm happy to recommend it.
