I first became aware of neck cooling fans after watching a YouTube ad for one. Looking it up, I was aghast to see it selling for $150 - $200, based on model. Searching Amazon for similar neck fans, specifically with a cooling plate, I saw the Jawhock on sale & took a chance with it. Color me impressed! The 3 fan levels cool down, and aren't bad on the noise levels. It sounds loud when wearing the fan, but that's because of the close proximity to the ears. I mainly stick to Low, and I can listen to videos just fine. The cooling plate is the reason why I bought this. 3 Cooling levels, with an option for Smart Cooling, which cycles the Cooling on & off. I feel instant relief from the heat, especially in tandem with the fans. Sometimes, I do sometimes develop a dull headache, which I'm assuming comes from the contrast of body heat to icy cooling plate. The plates chills almost like an ice cube, without risk of developing frostbite. The Jawhock cooling neck fan is light to me. Not featherlight, but comfortable. There's enough to let you know it's there. The battery has been pretty good. I haven't used it for a sustained time period, and only use the low settings, separate or combined. For the $18+ including tax I paid, I'm quite happy with purchasing the Jawhock neck cooling fan. Regular price seems a good value, compared to the other options, especially the premium priced ones. Overall, I give the Jawhock my highest recommendation.

I bought this during the summer to help tackle the heat of being outside for 7 hours a day. I have a hard time staying cool and this fan does just the trick. Pros - The battery on it always lasted me the day. I used it sparingly so it wouldn’t die. Just enough to cool me off and then I would put it away. - It doesn’t take long to charge, I would charge it over night. It fits perfectly in my backpack which is great for functionality. - The weight of it doesn’t really make a difference to me. It’s like a nice weight on your shoulders. Not too heavy and not super light that you forget it’s there Cons -It is noisy though on loud. I would have a hard time hearing people. I feel this is unavoidable though. - On high for all settings it would last me about 2 hours. What I love - The metal part that gets cold on your neck. This feels aaaamaaaazing. Like especially after sweating a ton it cools me right down. - I can share it with others! The campers when they were overheating would ask to use it and it was so easy to just take it out of my bag and turn it on. Things to keep in mind - if you’re going to use it on high take a power bank with you to charge it - it can be a little bulky but has some bend to it - if you can’t handle the sound of a fan in your ear then this isn’t for you

I am a nurse and work in an acute care setting. I bought this for me to wear at work at the hospital. I also bought one for my mom. She’s disabled but stays active around her home, gardening all summer long in the southern Kansas heat. We are just now to the end of May so the real test will come in a couple of months when the heat is fully on blast. I just received mine and haven’t worn it to work yet but here is my honest review from wearing it around my home. I used it prior to charging, right out of the box. The cooling plate does get cold. It sits at the base of my neck and not at the nape like I expected. It sits comfortably and does stretch out and has some flexibility. Once I am able to wear it at work, I will know if this will work for what I need. Right now it seems as though it will do the job. The fan is quiet and I am able to hear around it on the lowest setting. The highest setting can be heard by other people and can be obnoxious according to my adult daughter. It has a strong fan and does blow a lot of air. I have to be able to function and hold conversations with my patients while wearing this. Therefore I will most likely have to use the lowest speed to ensure I can accurately care for my patients and their families. The LED lights on the back have no function other than to be pretty. I may not be able to use the cooling plate because I work at night and these lights could be disruptive to my patients. I was able to get mine on sale. I feel for the price I paid, it is worth it. Especially if it will keep my skin from feeling like it’s crawling because I’m so hot while taking care of my patients. I have a second fan that I bought in TikTok and this one is a better quality and I feel like it will work better for what I am needing it for.
