Gold Series Hydrating Butter-Cream, 6.8 oz

I have 3c/4a Natural High Porosity. High Porosity hair requires intense moisture because it pulls in moisture with ease however has difficulty holding on to that moisture. Butters, hair grease, and hair soufflés are a major part of my hair care routine. My hair loves this Butter Crème. The consistency is not too thick. It smells wonderful. It’s not overwhelming with artificial perfumes. I love using this after putting in the Detangling Hair Milk. After following the instructions, I twist out my hair to ensure my hair receives the entirety of moisture this product provides. After taking down my twist, my hair is left feeling soft, hydrated, and perfectly moisturized. My curls are shiny, and are bouncing with liveliness. I also use the Conditioner, and the oil for this particular Gold Series line. Compared to other higher end products I’ve used like Ouidad, and Redken, this is not only affordable, but it works wonders for my curls. I would highly recommend this Hydrating Butter Crème, especially if you are prone to dry hair.

I use this after towel drying my hair after my swim, shower, & shampoo. I swim in a chlorinated pool, which leaves my short hair dry and poufy (I call it bubblehead) if I don't use the right product. Regular rinse-out conditioners did not do it for me. But this is now one of my favorite products. It's made a big difference and leaves my hair soft but not flyaway and SO easy to style afterwards. I rub a dollop of it between my hands & fingers and then run it all through my towel-dried hair till it feels like it's penetrated. Then I just rinse my hands and leave it in. The poufiness is gone and I find I can move my short hair almost any way I want and it looks good with lots of separation. No more bubblehead bouffant hair for me. It doesn't feel sticky and the coconutty-citrusy fragrance, while it's not my favorite, is mild and disappears after it dries. I especially like that it's a reasonable price. By the way, I've made the switch to bar soap shampoos, no more plastic products, and it would be great if Pantene started doing that and also making this product into a bar. Even though it's in a thinner plastic tube, no plastic is best and I'm finding the shampoo bars make a better and more moisturizing lather than all the other shampoos, which are all diluted with water and create tremendous plastic pollution. Besides no plastic waste, because they come in cardboard containers like regular bar soap, there's absolutely no product waste either - you end up using the entire product instead of leaving who knows how much cream behind in those awful plastic bottles.

Smooth, silky, the oilness is like your just out from the shower, smell so good too, its relax your hair and not frizzy and your haif looks shinny and healthy.

It smells really good. It’s a buttery ,creamy texture. It does hydrate my hair but not as much as I would like so I also use an oil . My texture type is like 4c

First time using it and it feels amazing. I dont feel it! It's not heavy or greasy. Just perfect and it smells good but isn't a strong smell. It's thin but not that concerning thin and isn't hard to work through your hair. I have 4c and it's so hard to find good stuff, i have high hopes for this.
