My HP laptop, which came with Windows 10, began to run significantly slower after I installed Windows 11. For instance, it took 4-5 minutes to access the login screen, 10 minutes to reach the home screen, and it would hang when opening basic applications like Excel. However, replacing the HDD drive with an SSD drastically improved the laptop’s performance. I purchased the SSD at a discounted price on Amazon. I personally installed it in the laptop without any prior training, so it is very easy to install(unless you have the necessary tools, don’t attempt this yourself). The SSD is incredibly lightweight, making it almost imperceptible when placed on your palm. WD is renowned for its manufacturing quality, so its performance is also top-notch. Before installing the new SSD, I ensured that I backed up my data so there was no data loss incident. Got this ssd at lower price on amazon.

One of the best investment I made this year, migrated my whole disk with less than 1 hour. 500gb capacity was more enough for me but higher the size it'll be more durable in life so purchase as per your requirement. Side I haven't used much will post any issues if arise in future. Speed test area awesome so tried realtime file transfer worked fine. Note: try check file transfer in ssd only if you're file transfering from hdd speed rates are limited to it, mine old hdd was 100mb speed max 108mb.

I purchased this for my ASUS laptop it's working in high speed, Previously I have HDD 1TB but no use, So i installed this WD SSD my laptop looks like it's new everything running in high speed. Iam giving this after using of 2 months it's good it's fits to all laptops. Value for money, easy to install. Thanks for Western Digital.

Updated Review on 20th July, 2025 This SSD Gave Up Abruptly without warning in 6 months. Great as long as it lasted which is just around 6 months of actual usage. My Original HDD still goes strong even after 14 years. So this SDD is a poor replacement of the orignal XBOX HDD. Never go for this Used this to replace my 250 GB HDD in XBOX 360 Slim which was bought in 2011 and now out of space. Also purchased a 2.5 MAXCOM SSD enclosure from Amazon to house the SSD inside XBOX360. Pros 1) XBOX 360S boots almost instantly 2) Copied over 500 games on the SSD 3) Remarkably faster 4) SSD works well on both Mac and Windows as well as XBOX 360 5) With a HiperAds 2.5 Sata Cable I attained speeds of over 280MBPS on a thunderbolt 3 USB 3.1 C port. Cons 1) Lasted just around 1.5 years 2) Unreliable 3) Not to be used for gaming

Purchased this in Jan this year. Within 3 months, it stopped working. They boast a 5 year warranty, but since April, I have called customer service several times every month (emailed them too with all the details), but no response. Highly disappointed in WD - got the Blue one specifically for higher durability and life, and have used only light applications like MS office, browsers, etc. No games, video editing software, or anything heavy, and still it stopped working, with 0 customer support. (Already tried another SSD with the same machine and its working, and tried installing this WD SSD in another 2 machines, and they didn't pick it up either. ) Still awaiting response from them.

Amazing product received in perfect condition. It reduced boot time of my Core2Quad Pc and increased performance of it. Build quality is normal as usual and installation like normal SATA HHD
