Received in brand new perfect condition. Mine came with no box. Just shipping label on the ladder. Honestly it came in perfect condition. Just a little dusty. Removed all shipping labels. Not the caution labels on the sides and used some windex with paper towels. Just came out beautiful. The ladder works perfectly and no wiggling around. Nice and sturdy. Also much lighter than my other ladders. I’m 71 with a bad back. This is my first fiber glass ladder and it is a joy to move it around. Very happy customer. Highly recommend this seller and ladder!!

great sturdy ladder!! ya it had a few rubs here and they barely noticeable probably from the manufacturing process, im sure they arnt using white gloves when handling these parts and putting together. super stable and im a big guy! really like the top of the ladder lots of place to put screws, screwdriver, handtools, paint hook, flashlight, drill and a lil magnetic strip also

Excellent quality ladder. I bought based on brand, value and weight bearing capacity (300 lbs). I have used Louisville ladders before, back when they were wooden, and liked them at that time. It is not too heavy to lug around and stores very flat. I like that the top is a versatile tool holder. No more going up and down for tools or dropping them while trying to balance them on a flat top.

... it would be nice if the uppermost standing platform was more skid resistant, like other other ladders, specially for when working on wet conditions. I really like the big, chunky rubber feet, which is a great upgrade from other thinner ones I've seen in the other ladders, which wear out a bit too fast and become noisy every time you put the thing down.

This is a solid ladder with good feet on it! I bought it because it’s great for seniors that still need to use one. I feel safe on it. The metal is solid also.

I needed a replacement ladded for a 6 footer - which was LONG overdue for the dump. It's amazing how many times I foolishly told myself I would "get by" using that old slightly-bent aluminum ladder "just one more time". For me, a hundred bucks doesn't come easy, and honestly - ladders are "spuratic" in their priority at best. But at my age, a single trip to the ER would eat up that $100 - and more. So I started looking for the best bang for the buck, comparing all fiberglass "type1A" ladders by the usual brand-named manufacturers. I already have a nice Werner 12 ft. model, so I compared their 6 ft. products too. When I saw this Louisville, I kept comparing it specifically to the others, to assure I was catching all the ratings, certs, and extras verbatim - due to its marginal lesser cost. I was initially using Amazon and the web as only shopping resources - since obviously the shipping for a ladder was expected to add some serious coin to the total. I therefore originally thought I would be making the actual purchase at a big box store. Surprisingly - the pricing was higher at the local brick and mortars than ordering online, (especially considering tax). Anyway - after comparing the players I remained impressed with this model. It really is the best, (or as good as the best) I examined in its class. Seeing it was also a Prime item, I ordered it. I am no ladder design expert, but as a DIY guy using common sense, I checked it out as soon as it arrived. Its supporting struts, tooling helps, solid feel, and just overall confident stance when set up make it a very nice platform to work from. The ad lists its bells and whistles adequately, so I am not going to reitterate them. However, I will say that although relatively light, this is one solid little ladder! Perhaps Louisville is "less-known" among other more contractor grade names, I don't know. But whatever the reason for this ladder being sold for this price, at this time, I recommend it as a "good buy".

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Bought this to replace my heavy wood ladders. I am now 65 years old, and carrying a heavy ladder is harder than it used to be. BUT I still need a heavy duty ladder to hold me and keep me feeling safe and secure due to my fear of heights. These heavy duty fiberglass ladders with aluminum are so easy to move around, and yet feel so safe and heavy duty that it's amazing the difference. There is no give or nudging when using them like what I felt on my wooden ladders. The rating is perfect for the average person. I keep a few different sizes in my barn for household outside projects. I expect this ladder to outlive me by many years. Very strong. It appears to be a high quality product. I have only used it a few months, so I cannot tell how many years it will last, but it is doing exactly what they claim it should do. No problems or complaints. It arrived to me from Amazon safely inside a large HD cardboard box without any damage. Good Luck.

Great way to get up in the world. Easy to get into and out of a basement. No worries using with electricity. Very sturdy

This ladder is excellent. Louisville sets themselves apart by design and construction, most notably with the chunky rubber feet they install to give you peace of mind as you climb. Very sturdy and reliable, frankly an excellent product. I didn't get it on Amazon. I ordered it, got an order confirmation and waited. After the delivery due date was missed. Vendor gave me a lame apology and refunded my money. I needed this item for a project and thus the apology wasn't helpful. Refund was the least I expected. Please don't advertise goods on Amazon if you can't fulfill the order. Other than that, Amazon has been excellent. J.
