Works well with my Macbook. The one problem I did have was that it was unable to transfer a large file from a USB drive. After trying it a couple times, I switched to a different adapter and it was copied over without problems.

I purchased this item for separating the video HDMI and the audio but once you connect the HDMI, the audio jack will cease to work so it is useless for my needs.

The media could not be loaded. Used this to attach our Iphone and Ipad to mixing board and video for musician. Type C 5 in one hub... charging port, hdmi, usb, audio out, and vga. Worked so well , we bought a second one for a friend.

UPDATE: after my honest review I was blown away that the company responded to make things right AFTER the return period expired. Not expected. True Costco level service standing behind thier product. It is a cord issue because I can make it work if I play around with the cord and flex it until it works. Then 1 bump and the second screen is gone. It's a shame I can't return after the return window.

Note this has a USB-C input. It won't work if you have the older USB-A connector!Used this to run a Powerpoint slideshow at an event with my MS Surface Go tablet. Worked great. USB-C power-in connector was critical as it kept my tablet charged. Used HDMI with a projector in this case, but did test it with both HDMI and VGA on a monitor. Worked great. Extra USB-A input is a nice touch.DIdn't check for sound on the HDMI. I'll have to try that out and update the review appropriately, but it saved me from hauling out a full size laptop for a couple of hours this time.

Lo utilize para una laptop con Windows y Linux. Para una mejor resolución utilice un cable vga corto que no tenga mucha ferrita en sus puntas. Tenía un cable de 3m y no me salía tan claro.
