Will light turn while plugged into 12v?

The instructions say not to use while plugged into charger, could damage unit. Not sure why you would want too. The battery life is excellent for normal use, it’s not designed to be on all night.

Where do i plug in the charging cable

The plug in place is on the back right above the push button switch. It has a small round rubber stopper you pull down on and then you will see the plug in port. I really light mine works good and battery last longer on the lower light beams. Take care

Does it come with a red lense?

No it doesn't, but I will say it is the best rechargeable flashlight that I've ever owned it's extremely bright and you have a high setting a low setting and even a flashlight setting. It's not all that big like most of them and just not heavy and I'm not a Salesman so I'm not trying to sell you one. Lol! Hope this answers your question and take care.
