Very nice Safavieh soft shag rug. Rug is true to color pictured in description. Laid flat in just a few minutes. Complimented our tile floors and leather furniture. Would definitely buy again when the need arises.

Have been looking all over for a rug and the reviews for this one were overwhelmingly positive, much more so than any other rugs I'd seen. Seems this Safavieh brand has some definite fans out there and u can now count me in as one as well. We love to play games on the floor or lie on the ground as well as the couch so really wanted something soft, comfortable, inviting....something that we enjoyed...so r search for shag/plush rugs began. There r so many positives on this rug. If ur reading this, ur probably pondering whether u need to pay $5k for a rug - maybe- if that's ur thing. We didn't want to spend that amount. Most local stores cost $1k+ & don't have a return policy, which makes it hard to know what really works in ur space. Others have rugs but u have to pay for return shipping, which can b crazy expensive. After reading all the glowing reviews, seeing the price of <$1k and knowing that Amazon offered free returns (AMAZING) on this product, it made us willing to take a chance. The rug arrived within a week in a HUGE & very very heavy big roll. However, the rug isn't rolled up like I'd expect but rather folded in there. If u aren't strong, ur going to need some help if u order one of the big rugs. Ours is 10x14 & it took 2 of us (1 very strong doing most of the work & the other directing & doing the small stuff). The rug didn't smell at all and unfolded almost seamlessly. There were a few bumps that straightened out but it pretty much came right out of the pack and laid flat on the floor, ready to use. Almost ordered a 2nd rug to c which we like better but after the cardio workout of getting this one in place I'm really glad we just picked this one and went with it. Ours in the grey with ivory markings. If ur wondering how grey it is, it's definitely a light grey, not greige or brownish, not super dark. The ivory is truly an ivory/off white/linen type color, not white. We didn't put a pad under it (floors r vinyl plank)and don't plan to as it's comfy enough. However, could add a padding if u wanted. It's so nice to walk on and lie down on. Only thing I don't love is the pattern. It's not very interesting - sort of common- but the quality of the rug is so awesome we will b keeping it. Now just have to find some drapes that work well with it.

Great value area rug having an ultra soft touch and plush looking. Great for a neutral glam look which is what I was after. In all honesty, its a nice rug for the price. Comparing this to my smaller round IKEA rug I have had for 3 1/2 years, this rug is softer and more plush due to the longer yarn strands, however the IKEA rug is denser meaning its harder to see or feel the rug backing when digging your fingers into the shag. Not sure of the durability of a less denser rug in time as this area is used daily and gets abuse. All in all, we're happy with this purchase. I have the grey which has a touch of taupe but not enough to call it that. My couch is taupe and my walls are greige. The rug looks cooler and more grey in comparison but still works. I wish it was a touch warmer but that's my bad as I should have gone with taupe instead. The ivory isn't too dark either. I have ultra white baseboards and window sheers but it still works well together. The ivory and moddled grey work well together giving you a pattern yet not being loud. It has a more subtle look for those afraid of using pattern. If you are looking for a very cool grey, this rug isn't it. I have put silver and gold on the rug to see the difference. Silver works but blends in. The gold works well and makes it pop which is what i was hoping for. I have a rug pad under it to protect the floor and prolong the life of the rug. 1/8" was perfect thickness as this rug is plush to begin with. You will not be disappointed in this rug and I highly recommend.

We all love this rug. I've had good luck with all the Safavieh rugs I've purchased, but this is the best so far. This one feels luxurious on bare feet as it's nice and thick. I've never owned an actual shag rug and was a little apprehensive, but it's lovely and kind of fun. It's a little tough to drag a vacuum over it with the spinning bar thing running, but it cleans up fine without it. The color is exactly as pictured. It's not quite a "Quatrefoil" design, more like a wavy geometric - which I much prefer as quatrefoils are getting a bit dated. The rug arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The price is amazing for a decent quality rug. Top marks!

Ich war mir am Anfang nicht sicher, ob ich mehr Geld für einen Teppich ausgebe, weil ich einen Hund habe und mir klar ist, dass die Teppiche nicht ewig halten...aber ich dachte, egal..und habe es nicht bereut. Der Teppich ist sehr flauschig, er fusselt nicht und sieht wirklich gut aus. Wir haben ihn am Wohnzimmertisch - direkt an der Couch liegen. Kleiner Nachteil ist, dass wir jetzt keine Flaschen mehr auf den Boden stellen können, die fallen um. Wir haben gerne das Wasser oder andere Getränkeflaschen immer neben den kleinen Wohnzimmertisch gestellt. Das geht jetzt nicht mehr, aber damit kann man leben. Mein Hund fühlt sich auch sehr wohl drauf

Very soft comfy carpet. I have little grandchildren and sooooo comfortable to get on the floor to play with them. Beautiful pattern and color exactly as shown. No smell and wrapped so nicely it didn't even need to relax and flatten out from the minute I unrolled it. Love, love this carpet!!!
