Delsey Paris Chatelet Hardside 2.0 Luggage with Spinner Wheels

This item is beautiful and definitely worth the price.

Pros: 1) Trendy design and looks, great colors, stylish bag for travelling 2) Strained divider with zippers on one side and elastic straps on the other side split this luggage into 2 sides, which helps to organize stuff inside 3) Also features few bags for storing lingerie 4) Well-built, high quality product from polycarbonate 5) Great wheels 6) Air light and quite tough for its size Cons: 1) Red tissue for internals is a bad taste and is met in many Delsey's models 2) Not all cabin models have wheels locking mechanism which is a big disappointment 3) Some low-costers may think that this is size is bigger than cabin size agreed everywhere Summary: The most important thing about Delsey Paris Chatelet Hardside luggage line is you can enjoy its perfect looks only if you acquire cabin size model and keep it with you during flights. I would recommend buying cabin size Delsey Paris Chatelets for cabin luggage and Samsonite/American Tourister ones made from polypropelene for checked luggage. Note: Unfortunately almost any checked luggage made from polycarbonate will not survive many flights due to the rude way airport personnel treats any luggage loaded into the plane during flights. Preferred material for checked luggage is polypropylene, because it can keep its form, shape and internals even being half loaded.

A brand I have always favoured in luggage due to its durability.

We bought a large case a couple of years ago. After only 2 flights, one of the wheels broke off. When we bought the case, it supposedly had a 10 year warranty. We contacted DELSEY who refused to repair the case, or else we would be charged for it! So basically the warranty is a complete scam, so don’t even bother! I am from now on just going to buy cheap cases and replace them when they break as the warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

Every thing is ok with this luggage except the size. I liked everything about this suitcase the double zipper, the quality of lining, the material and the design for sure. It seemed very durable. I only wished the dimensions were aligned with Canadian airlines. I had to return it.

I was expecting a luggage of 55 cm (as mentioned in the description) but 55 cm refers to internal measures while the reality is 58 cm therefore not valid for carry on luggage. When selecting 21 inch luggage, you will receive a 22,75 inch.!!!
