When you first apply it, it will seem to be different color but eventually it will match the color

Useless for covering any dirt mark on shoe.
Useless!! I used it to color my nubuck leather shoe that had few oil marks and bike gear leaver mark. Brushed it properly and applied multiple coatings of the liquid. The marks are still there and there is no change. This liquid is like water with very light color. Only the brush is of use.
