There are protein drinks on the market that have a higher protein content (by a couple of grams). The Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Protein Shake tastes better, IMO. I make a milkshake twice a day using this drink, milk, ice cream, a dash of extra chocolate, and a tablespoon of whey protein. Good Stuff! I highly recommend Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Protein Shake. It is an excellent product.

This drink is fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get their daily protein intake. It's not even chalky compared to other brands that use ultra-processed milk. It's not even milk anymore and they're saying that they have 42 grams of protein (which is the same company that got sued a few years ago for putting fake vanilla in their drinks) If you want a great tasting milkshake without the bloat that comes from drinking other protein shakes, pick this up and enjoy it! It really is the gold standard of protein shakes.

I am an avid, incredibly average, gym-goer. As a 31 year old, I've reached that point in my life where I have accepted I'll never be a professional athlete, but do wish I could still train and look like one someday... That being said, I've taken protein supplements for the better part of two decades. I've succumbed to focusing on 4 main aspects when it comes to protein supplements: 1) taste 2) convenience 3) amount of protein 4) cost benefit analysis TASTE This does the job. Throw the packs in the fridge, shake a bit, and enjoy. They're as good as protein shakes will ever get with least amount of effort. CONVENIENCE Don't need shakers, no clumping, no lugging around big protein containers. Its too easy. So easy, I accidentally hand them out to my gym partners like candy, thus requiring me to order twice as many. PROTEIN Plenty of protein. I usually pair with a protein bar as well. COST Saves on time. Think about it. Probably takes you 5 minutes everytime you make a shake. Between getting the bottle, adding powder, adding fluid, shaking vigorously, drinking, then cleaning the bottle just to repeat after each workout. Multiply that by 4 times a week and that equals like DAYS worth of just prepping protein shakes. INSANE. I open my fridge and drink this bad boy saving DAYS. All in all. 5 out of 5.

Ordered 8/9/24. Expired products (Aug 2024). The ones that expire Sept-Nov 2024 tasted stale and had large lumps despite shaking. Will not purchase again.
