I was hoping this would be as beautiful as the picture, but it was much better! The weight of it is perfect, not like the other jewelry boxes with the girly graphics which are quite flimsy. It has been almost a year since I bought this for my granddaughter on her 4th birthday, and it is just a beautiful as the day she opened it. I worried a little about the ballerina, but as often as she opens it and winds it up, the music and just a clear and the ballerina still twirls. And the fact that it can be initialed is fantastic. This is a must for any little girl!

The jewelry box was a bit smaller than I expected, but still beautiful. Beautiful personalized gift. I really liked that when the ballerina stops dancing the spring wind up is right in the back and she continues to dance.

Bought this for granddaughter's first ballet recital. She is only three. She was instantly mesmerized by the box. The dancer and music are beautiful. The box is really well constructed. Interior is a lovely pink with sturdy compartments. Monogram is perfect. Really fabulous gift. Would buy again.
