However it still works fine as a remote control just without the pointer and voice control if it is used as a ‘slave’ to a primary remote control. Although it’s designed for the latest panels, I was surprised to see it work with my LG C9 OLED TV. I find it more ergonomically comfortable than the previous models. It’s very well designed indeed and a bit smaller. The newer more blocky approach is better than the previous curved remotes. The only incompatibility is with the bottom four media shortcut buttons.
