Great night light for my toddler
I got this for my 2.5 year old boy to take on a road trip. I thought it might help him be more willing to go to bed and stay there (first time not sleeping in a crib) if he had something to take with him that would keep his interest. Worked out perfectly. He’s kind of obsessed with lights anyway, but he really loves his lantern. He knows how to change the settings and the sliding function gives it an extra fidgety aspect that he likes playing with. We had fun practicing naming his colors before bed as he clicked the button to switch through them. His favorite setting is the flickering torch which makes a perfect night light. The battery life has been great so far. He keeps the thing on all night and I turn it off when he gets up in the morning. I charge it every 4 days or so, but it hasn’t gone dead on us yet.

Perfect nightlight for six-year-old
The lantern can be opened for more light or closed for a dim nightlight. My six-year-old loves this lamp. It’s rechargeable, which is amazing. There are so many colors to choose from and is super easy to work the lantern. Absolutely love this for a hands-on nightlight for my daughter to use.

Amazing! Super excited to try it
Super bright, adjustable brightness, multiple colors, can be used as a nightlight or light the whole room. It’s perfect! I’d recommend spending a little more for the rechargeable version so you can also charge your phone, and you’ll be using this so much you won’t have to keep buying batteries. Super excited for this thing!

Bright versatile light in a can-sized package!
The media could not be loaded. This review is for the silver and black rechargeable version. This pop up light packs a lot of light into a compact, well built, weather resistant (IP54), easy to operate, solid little package about the size and heft of soft-drink can. It utilizes two button operation: power and dimming in one, mode (color) selection in the other. All modes except for candle (flicker) and SOS are dimmable. The light flashes to indicate when it’s at its brightest or dimmest setting. All the colors are very bright and vivid. It charges via the included micro-USB cable. There is a USB A port to charge other devices. The ports are hidden on the opposite side of the cylinder from the control buttons near the base behind a snug fitting silicone cover. The light itself pulls up from the snug fitting base with a little effort and positively snaps open. It will sit partially open if standing on its base, but will slide fully open if hanging from the handle. The handle itself is silicone and detaches easily (but not too easily) from the base.It doesn’t turn off when you close the light it simply continues its glow through the printed tube for a more night-light appearance.Overall - love this little thing. It’s going to get a lot of use.

Underdelivers on Features and Especially Battery Life
I had high hopes for this rechargeable LED camping/anytime lantern, but disappointing battery life, cheap build quality, and the steep price tag tempered those hopes. So, let me address the problems with this lamp first:→ Build quality. This lantern is rated IP54 but feels chintzy. The IP54 rating means that the lantern offers moderate protection against dust (or solid particles) and water. This lamp is not waterproof.→ Battery. The internal battery is rated at 4400mAh, and it's a letdown. Not only is the battery small, but this lantern is also touted as a charger for your smart devices, e.g., a cellphone. You're not going to get much charge with this small battery.→ Price. For what you're getting, the price tag is steep. You'd be better off buying a different camping lantern and separate battery pack to charge your smart devices. This lantern isn't a complete letdown, however. It does feature color-shifting LEDs that make this a fun lantern for kids. It's perfect for backyard (or wilderness) camping or even sleepovers! The lantern is also small and collapsible, making it easy to pack. However, I don't think it's worth the asking price for my money.

Cheaply made with cheap plastic, but actually pretty awesome!
Being completely honest, when I first opened up this Enbrighten Pop-Up Lantern I was pretty unimpressed. It feels super light and cheaply made, like the cheapest and thinnest plastic possible. But now that I have been using it for the last few weeks, I don’t even care! This thing comes in super handy! My 9 year old son has pretty much taken this over as his night light/ ambient lighting thing for his room. I’ll walk into his room and it’s a different color all the time, he legitimately told me the other day that he likes the ambiance that this lantern creates… one I didn’t even know he knew that word, and two he’s 9..z how much ambiance does a 9 year old boy need. But hey he’s been enjoying it so I don’t mind!We have had to charge this about once or sometimes twice a week since he’s using it so much. But it does have a pretty long run time. The highest brightest setting on this lantern is crazy bright. I almost feel like I’m looking into the sun when it’s doing it’s thing. And then you can leave it on and close it if you want just a night light or something like that.Final verdict- it may be cheaply made with cheap materials, but it’s super useful and works great!

A very handy pop-up lantern
I love a lantern that does not use batteries and can be charged with a USB charger. This is a good-looking lantern that can be used for camping, travel, and blackouts. It is very handy and has several modes of color: a bright light, an amber light, a candle flicker and eight vivid colors. All colors are dimmable. It is great for when the power goes out as well as for travel and camping.

Small, cute, and effective
I have not used it for a purpose yet but played with it and like it. I like the colors and brightness settings and the pop-up feature to make it easy to pack. Will take it for our next vacation to add color to our rooms. I like that we can charge our phone with it as well. My only concern is that I have to remember to keep it charged now and then in the event I need it for a power outage (cannot predict that). But overall, I like it.
