Review: Lifesaver - Discovered critter activity recently in my small backyard. Critters were eating my recently planted produce in a raised garden bed. Could not figure out what critter it was. Finally saw the droppings and realized the critters were rats. Rats are more than likely due to the heavy demo/construction right behind my home. This product was recommended by a friend. Worked perfectly. Eliminated 4 rats. 3 in my backyard and one that somehow got into my garage. Only drawback is that you have to find the dead rats using your sense of smell but I would still purchase again. Review: 5 Stars because previously they worked for us - I've given 5 stars for this because while this particular station didn't attract and kill our rats the previous Tomcat station I purchased locally did. When we ordered this prefilled station I still had 2 blocks of poison left from my old station and they are not touching that either. Its almost like the rats realized all of the rat community was slowly dying and now won't touch it. I should explain that when I started to use Tomcat bait in early 2024 we had on any given night 10-15 rats and mice that would visit our bird feeders, sometimes even before dark, which is how we knew how many there were. We had tried mint spray, planting herbs (they ate them) and also a device that made a high pitched noise. Started using Tomcat bait and over the course of the Spring and Summer we used 10 blocks of poison and the rodents all disappeared. Fall we saw a couple so ordered these because we were low on poison. I will continue using these because I don't know what else to do and I'm not using something like a glue trap where they take days to die. I would like to add that if you order this product and have pets please be careful where you open the package. Some of the poison was loose in the desertcart package and sprinkled over my driveway when I opened it, which scared me a little as I have dogs and I could have opened the package next to them. ## Features - Tomcat Rat & Mouse Killer Disposable Value Pack of 2 pre-filled, ready to use bait stations effectively kills rats and mice while protecting kids and dogs - Each station comes with 1 bait block that kills up to 10 rats (based on no-choice laboratory testing), efficiently protecting your home - Weather-and tamper-proof from any child or dog in your home; usable indoors and outdoors - See-through window for easy monitoring of bait, so you always know when you need to replace your station - Bait stations are easy to use, allowing placement in small places like entry and garage doors, below windows, near utilities and any other areas where rodents tend to hide ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08129DYTH | | Brand | Tomcat | | Brand Name | Tomcat | | Color | White | | Colour | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 4,957 Reviews | | Included Components | Tomcat - 4388404 | | Is Electric | No | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 27.9L x 20.3W x 7.6H centimeters | | Item Type Name | Resistant, Pre-Filled, Easy Monitoring | | Item Weight | 8 Ounces | | Item weight | 8 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Tomcat | | Manufacturer Part Number | 4388404 | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | 4388404 | | Number of Pieces | 2 | | Power Source | Manual | | Product dimensions | 27.9L x 20.3W x 7.6H centimeters | | Recommended Uses For Product | Monitoring | | Style | 2 Stations | | Style Name | 2 Stations | | Target Species | Mouse | | UPC | 888603438846 | | Unit Count | 2 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Tomcat - **Colour:** White - **Material:** Plastic - **Product dimensions:** 27.9L x 20.3W x 7.6H centimeters - **Style:** 2 Stations ## Images ![Rat and Mouse Killer Disposable Stations for Indoor/Outdoor Use: Child and Dog Resistant, Pre-Filled, Easy Monitoring, 2-Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71dWjBhXZ8L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this catch the rodents or just poison them? I need it to catch the rat. I have dogs.** A: It doesn’t trap or catch them, just poisons them **Q: Can this catch more than one mouse at a time?** A: Tomcat's Rat Mouse Killer Child Dog Resistant Disposable Station does not act as a trap, but rather a housing for bait - which can control multiple mice but will not catch any. **Q: Does this work on chipmunks that burrow?** A: No, Tomcat Rat & Mouse Killer Disposable Bait Station is only designed to control mice and rats. **Q: can I use the poison blocks by itself, my rats are on the tree in front of my patio** A: No, the unit is sealed, for use until the bait is gone. The bait blocks are available with out buying the whole trap. Poisoned mice are not contained and do drop poison *by N***E on 20 February 2021* For me these traps worked great! I gave them 3 stars because when I came home there was a dead mouse right in front of my dogs crate. My older dog was standing over the mouse sniffing it I think. After I read the box and the reviews about this product harming people's animals, both the traps went right in the trash. I wiped off my counter and there were pieces of green poison on the counter and the stove top. I need to get rid of the mice but I don't want anything to happen to my dogs. So hopefully I can find a better way. I do not recommend these traps if you have small children that crawl around on the floor, or pets. The mice drop the poison while carrying it off. I know better than to buy poison traps because they harm animals. When I came home and there were 4 mice on my counter I freaked out and wanted them gone immediately!! Hopefully I can find a better way to get rid of the mice, without causing myself stress and anxiety about the safety of my dogs. Update.... I just added an additional star, in less then 24 hours these bait traps killed every mouse in our house. Now let me explain alittle more. I 💕 ce in the middle of a horse farm as nd even with barn cats there is still a mouse problem. They are small mice, I am guessing field mice, so these bait traps worked great. Like I said the main down side is the poisoned mice being near our pets. Which freaked me out and caused me to trash them. Other than that they are great!!! Ohhhh one more thing. Once the mice eat the poison they don't seem to make it out of your house. So your house starts to smell disgusting and you get to go on a dead mouse hunt!!! No it was not fun at all!!! They were under the oven, the refrigerator, and I think there might be another one some where that we haven't found yet 😞 ## Frequently Bought Together - Tomcat Rat and Mouse Killer Disposable Stations for Indoor/Outdoor Use: Child and Dog Resistant, Pre-Filled, Easy Monitoring, 2-Pack - Tomcat Glue Traps Mouse Size with Eugenol for Enhanced Stickiness for Mice, Cockroaches, and Spiders, 6 Traps - TERRO Ant Killer Bait Stations T300B - Liquid Bait to Eliminate Ants - 12 Count Stations for Effective Indoor Ant Control --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kr/products/455031147-rat-and-mouse-killer-disposable-stations-for-indoor-outdoor-use](https://www.desertcart.kr/products/455031147-rat-and-mouse-killer-disposable-stations-for-indoor-outdoor-use) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Korea* *Store origin: KR* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
