I bought a different brand from a local vendor and the youth medium fit perfectly so I bought this youth padded football pants as a youth medium as well and it fit smaller.I would recommend trying one on in a store then buying 1size up if you order this one.Thinking of returning it for a youth largeThat's why I give it 4stars.

My son is 7 and is 4’ and weighs about 45 lbs soaking wet. He’s tiny! His football uniform came with a size “small” but the knee pads ended up being shin guards on him. He was constantly pulling up his pants because even at the tightest his belt would allow, they were still too big. I decided to order these since the price was right and to gauge what size he really is. We went with the 1xs and they fit perfect. I would highly recommend these for slim built kids but they might not work on someone more husky in the middle or if they have thick butt and thighs. Definitely buying more for my slim guy. I posted the difference in size compared to his old ones for comparison in a different brand off brand.

Good quality, fit is large. Frustrating because other colors fit differently with this brand!

I bought these for my 10 year old. The fit is great and we both love the fact that they do not have a lace up fly. So far, they have been very durable and the grass stains have scrubbed out easily.

Son muy buenas para entrenar, practicas de lavar y de vuelta al campo. Solo atención con la talla, despues de leer review opté por la talla L para mi niño de 9 años y muy delgado, le quedaron bien, el detalle es que pensaria que les queden la ch o M pero es la L.
