Here is everything you need to know.
I'd go 4 and a half stars but considering the price, overall its not to bad. Any 12" sub with anything other than the most simple stamped steel basket will require clearancing around the edges on the sides and the front of the box before they will fit. And ANY sub that you use will hit the floor at full extension so you'll have to add some spacers underneath the sides for clearance. I had to add about 5/8". The seat still has room to go down so people can sit, which is good until somebody actually sits in it, then the box goes umph'. The box does use up a little bit of leg/foot room, maybe an inch or so, but it does fit cleanly overall, other than the gap in front that the spacers you have to add leaves. And even without spacers there is about a 1 inch gap over the transmission hump, so there's that too. They say a total airspace of .95 but when I measure I get about ~.87 per side for around1.74 total. They sell a box identical to this but for 1 sub and its half the size and they claim .9 for that, so I'm going with my measurement. The box has a center divider so maybe that's why there is confusion. Don't know why, I've never heard a box sound better with one, first thing I did was knock that out. It wasn't really easy, but it was. Anyway, it would be about 70-85 bucks just for the materials to duplicate this box so even though its not perfect its still worth it if your cool with making some minor mods to it. To add a couple of passive radiators on the bottom then remove the spacers and seriously modify the box to mount some front firing 10's would likely be the best boom for the buck that you would get from this box, in time that's what I'll likely do, but for now my old 12's mounted down fire, some SKAR VD's, sound okay even if they sound kinda' muffled. Good luck.

You can't go wrong with this box. And the price is nice also..I'm one very satisfied customer.
I love this box my subs never sounded better than they do now I don't know if it's because there facing down ward. I looked everywhere in all the car audio shops and no one had this box for my 1990 silverado I was told it would be a custom order and cost up to $200 bucks. Thank you for such a great quality and amazing box for my truck it fit perfectly under the back seat. I'm very happy with this order.

Decent subwoofer enclosure at a good price
This is a solid box for your 12" subwoofers. The craftsmanship is very good. Seems just a bit thinner than 3/4" MDF. I doubt it will deform, though. Here's the trick. You need 11" cutout and less than 6" depth on those subs to fit this box. For 12" subwoofers that actually ties you down to some limited purchase options. I ended up going with a pair of Kicker 40CWRT121 12" CompRT Car Subwoofer which are more shallow than they need to be, and every other dimension fits this box, including the trim ring not overlapping the standoffs. The other limitation of this enclosure that the Kicker CompRT's respond to well is the volume. This box only offers .95 cu feet of air. The CompRT subs only ask for .55. There aren't a lot of other subwoofers out there spec'd for less than 1 cu foot of air. I deduct one star in my review because I think those standoffs are unreasonably close to the cutouts. They could have been cut to allow larger trim ring subwoofers to be installed. In case anyone is wondering, I've got a Rockford Fosgate Prime 1,200-Watt Class-D 1-Channel Amplifier powering those two Kicker CompRTs. Sounds great with this enclosure. This box sticks out about 3.5" from under the rear bench seat in my 1996 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado. Please see pic.

12 inch sub box
Fit subs nice and snug no need to modify. Expected more boom maybe it’s the speakers but overall shipping was fast and packaging was solid no damage to sub box during transport

I would recommend
Put two 10 inch Pioneer ts-w261s4 in the box. Pushing them with a Pioneer GM - d9601 amp. Sounds good with plenty of thump. Box fit nicely. Seemed to be sealed okay to me other than where the speaker terminals are connected to the box. I was pushing the speaker with my hand to see how well the box was sealed and I could hear air seeping out of the speaker connectors on the box. Sounds good though. I think I'm going to take the speaker's back out and put some fiberglass insulation on the inside. Seems to be a little boomey. I'm sure that will fix the boomey issue. 1996 Chevrolet K 1500 cab and a half. Ran into another small problem. Over time the speaker box made indentions in the carpet and the speaker's started making contact with the carpet on the floor of the truck. Simple fix. There was enough room to put 2x4 spacers (2.5" tall)on the box to get it off of the floor of the truck. Sounds wonderful. The seat still folds down with no problem.

Great Sub Box, Trouble with the size
Let me just say the sub box itself is very good quality. I have no issues with the quality of it. My only complaints have to do with its size description. I ordered the 12in box for 12in subs. When the box arrived I had to modify it a bit to fit the subs because they would not fit in. I had to cut off part of the sides so my subs would fit. My other complaint has to do with the shape of the box. I put it on an extended cab 1994 Chevy. It fits under the back seats but not how I was expecting. I thought it would fit flush under the seats but it does not. The sub box sticks out a bit from under the seats but it’s not much. I would’ve been more satisfied if it did fit clean under the seats. Overall it’s not a bad product, I would just say that some might have trouble with the size like how I did.

Sounds great! Looks great!
This box fit perfectly under the back seat with only about 1.5" of the bottom sticking out but that doesn't hinder any leg room for passengers. The subs, I put ma audios in it, hit hard. It sounds great on the inside and the outside because it doesn't sound like somethings going to fall off like most of the cars with subs today because the subs face towards the floor. The only modification I had to do was put a 5/8" piece of wood on the outside edges of the box so the subs wouldn't hit the floor and there's still enough room for the seat to sit like it should. I also mounted the amp to the box over the hump in the middle and there's enough clearness for it so it doesn't overheat. The box was built perfectly and probably better than anyone could build themselves because it's a very unique space. I would recommend this box to anyone.
