I could not wear this during my labor because I needed epidural access and during labor I really didn't care about covering up because everyone is looking at you. After labor when my dignity returned, I did wear this as it was easy to get up and go to the bathroom without being exposed. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Not appropriate for maternity patients + bad customer service *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2012* I ordered 2 of these gowns because-- like many women-- I find traditional hospital gowns revealing and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, CYA's gowns are not any better. Though described as a "maternity and delivery" gown, the gown isn't designed to tie over a pregnant stomach. When taken out of the package the gown looks like a kimono, but the sides aren't stitched together-- so when you put it on, it gaps from the bottom of the gown up through the waist, providing less coverage than a traditional hospital gown (!). (When I tried mine on it stuck out over my stomach, providing a clear sight line from one side of my body to the other-- revealing everything beneath the gown.) Have contacted CYA Gowns to return but they've not responded to my request for a return authorization, so I'm adding "poor customer service" to my "poor product" review.
