Determined the issue was with properly setting my home and also setting my Z offset. Also, taking sandpaper to the build plate helped the prints stick to it. As a novice printer, I'm learning as I go. Utilizing the cones of calibration tool helped tremendously. I have a Saturn S, and I had to adjust/tweak my settings to get optimal builds and reduce failures. My adjusted settings are as follows: - Base bottom layer count was 5 layers, changed to 4 layers - Base bottom exposure was 30 seconds, changed to 20 seconds - Base Exposure time was 2.5 seconds, changed to 3.0 seconds. **One key note regarding calibration: When homing my build plate, I now use my vat and I level/home/Z offset my build plate to my vat. I add resin to my vat so that it's about 1/4th full, loosen the build plate bolts, and then home it with the resin in the vat. This is alleviating the prints sticking to the FEP. The cones of calibration takes an hour to print but uses minimal resin and will save time (in the long run) alleviating the headaches/frustrations of getting failed prints. Hope this helps, and remember, with 3D printing, slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Fast and bad is 'bad' and is a waste of money, time, and resin. Tried googling/youtub'ing walk throughs, setting adjustments, etc. with each failure to accommodate the magnetic build plate in hopes of a successful print. All prints failed. Every print stuck to the FEP. Additionally, to make sure it wasn't due to the FEP, I replaced the FEP. Prints still went to the FEP and would not take on the magnetic build plate. I will be returning these. Save your money. These are a dud. Hope this helps someone and all of the best.

Great product. It makes removing your prints from the build plate a 100 times easier. Easy to set up. No smell on the adhesive and works well with my photon mono. Description is accurate and this is a must for anyone who prints a lot. Definitely a great value for your money, as it saves you a ton of time and broken pieces.

Works amazing install was easy, had to make a small 2mm spacer for the z stop sensor but after that no issues. Getting my resin prints off takes no effort and no more having to unscrew the platform. The magnetic plate has a strong hold and comes off only when you want it to. I highly recommend this if your tired of trying to prying you resin prints off the stock bed only for them to get damaged.

I've used this a month and it's already lost magnetism. The plate barely holds to it when held up vertically. I still have 2 from my last printer bought from a different seller 1 year ago that both still hold firm. Not sure what the deal is with this brand. When it held tight it worked great but the second it starts to lose charge your prints are doomed.

You are almost fooled into thinking the Magnet material is also 3M but it is not. Simply some cheap magentic material, possibly used to make magentic signs for cars. I have been using a flexible build plate from Sovol for my Mars 2 since early 2021 and it has never caused a failed print. The magnet is so strong it's easy to hurt yourself when mounting the plate. I still have the other plate and magnet and I measured the two magnets. The Koyfei is 1/3 thinner than the original Sovol magnet. The steel plates are identical so I can assume they saved money by supplying substandard magnetic material. May be ok for a contractors pickup truck sign but WILL COST YOU MONEY if you buy this sub standard product masquerading as quality! I have had both magnets fail with the stainless build plate simply lifing and ruining the piece, costing me money. I am not builting cutsie minatures but jigs and stamps for engraving and leather work. many of my itrems are lage and almost fill the Mars 3 plate. The cheap, thin magnetic material supplied with these plates are 1/3 thinner than the original Sovol magnetic material in Sovol plates that work so well. I have ordered another set in hopes that the magnets supplied in the first was defective. The 3M adhesive has held firmly after curing for 36 hours under pressure. Since the Mars 3 is a LARGER build area than the 2 the magnets need to be STRONGER not WEAKER! UPDATE: When my second set arrived I found the magnets were just as bad as the first set but then I added the extra magnet to the build plate and then WALA! The plates worked perfectly! As stong or stronger than the original thicker Sovol set I had purchased for my Mars 2 a few years ago. I have run hundreds of prints through the Mars 3 with ZERO failures. The plates perform flawlessly. I have subsequently changed my review based on using both magnetic sheets.

Surprised at how nice these are for the money - and they really work. The flexibility is really nice on these and your models pop right off. The first layer burn on these has been amazing - meaning the stickiness to hold and create a good first few layers to hold the model. Others have been too smooth and don't adhere the model and you end up either dropping in the resin or failing to launch entirely. This is my 3rd set of these I've purchased the first set from another company - could get adhesion, second same, third try is the WIN. Tried the other set again just to make sure I wasn't crazy - nope could start the model. Put these suckers back in place - BOOM! First time always. Pros: - Crazy first layer adhesion - no drops or bad starts - Flexible - Pops models of great - No sharp edges

The magnetic build plate is a helpful addition to my resin 3D printer, making print removal easier. It occasionally faces adhesion challenges with larger prints, but it's a solid choice overall, earning 4/5 stars.

I am using this on my Mono M7 in order to pull prints off the build plate easier. While it does appear to be more cleaning (of the metal plate each print so you can put it back on), having 2 significantly improves my work flow. I wish I could buy the plates themselves without the magnet as you only need one magnet to attach to the build plate. I did need to adjust the magnet when I was attaching it originally and it was HOT so I was able to manipulate it slightly to get a perfect fit, but definitely be cautious about getting the edges right when you first attach it. You will need to wait 24 hours after attaching the magnet before printing (it only tells you this in the instructions and doesn't seem to be posted elsewhere). Be careful of splatters as they do snap to the magnet strongly when you are between prints. Overall, definitely an improvement for making resin printing easier and more accessible.
