These are the best fitting and most attractive slacks I have ever worn. The fit is accurate and the short length is perfect for my 5’3” frame. The back pockets come sewn shut and you need to gently tear the stitching in order to use them. I don’t bother anymore though because they’re quite shallow and not really useful. The front pockets are not standard side pockets but are located more in the front under the waistband. The pockets aren’t optimal if you tuck in your shirt as the items in them could look bulky. Personally I never tuck my shirt and find these welt pockets perfect to hold my phone and small items. This pocket style works really well for me but may not be for everyone. I’ve been losing weight and have worn several sizes, all have fit consistently according to the posted size chart. There is also a non-plus size version of these pants that I’m changing to since I’ve shrunk out of these. These are great pants and I highly recommend them!
