This works perfectly. It comes with the motor and mechanism all in one. It doesn’t feel cheap or weak. It’s $300 less than bmw charges for the part. For $36.50, you have to give it a shot unless you are afraid to work on your own car. If you break it and are worried about losing the $36.50, then you have no business owning a BMW. If you think you will break your door and won’t be able to put it back together, don’t even attempt this. Buy this only if you are comfortable doing work on your car and have real tools. For everyone who is crying about it not being prethreaded, the factory unit isn’t either so give 1 star to BMW as well. If you are intimidated so far and don’t think you can figure out how to install the bolts because they aren’t prethreaded, stop here and go pay the dealer $600 for this install. If you do know how to do it and are worried, get an impact gun and use it. It took 2 seconds to tighten each bolt with a T30 torx bit. Not sure what torx bits are? Google it. Not sure if you can use them on a drill? Google again. Then go buy them. Actually don’t. You can’t do this on your own then. Still confused? Pay someone to install it and don’t attempt this. I had zero problems. I would have rated the install a 1 out of 10 but I gave it a 2 out of 10 because it’s a tight space. If you google diy videos and have some basic knowledge and tools, you can have this done in less than an hour. I took me maybe 32 minutes total and I took 3 phone calls and drank 2 beers during the install. If you made it this far, buy it and have fun working on your car!

Replaced the existing door actuator. Everything seem to check out fine. The door locked and opened fine. After getting in the car and driving a short distance the door is now stuck. It will lock and unlock but will not open from inside or out.

Es un producto de alta calidad, hay que porgramar en el scaner, pero aún así por costo beneficio es bastante bueno, incluso mejor calidad en el engrane que el original
